Anyone else just steadily becoming a huge scrub in the cruciblé?
[i][b]Final Edit[/b][/i]: to give hope to all. It was another bad week for the most part. But I pulled it together and put a 9-0 card together with a 1.74 KD and two 1200 ELO players. I'm not going to say I carried, they were smart and listened to my advice, they pulled out some clutch first kills. It was one kids very first flawless. Made me feel good and gave me hope. Also made me realize you have to be compete scum to charge for a "carry"
A month ago I was consistently wrecking.
The past 2 weeks, everyone that snipes towards my direction has 127% accuracy, they never miss. Every primary (especially Grasp of Malok, Mida, and TLW kill me faster than phogoth on void burn)
Even in trials last week I had an abysmal 1.2 weekly KD, this week it's probably below a 1.0.. Everyone that shoots at me is perfect.. they could have a .3 trials KD and they are MLG aimbot pro when they shoot at me..
It's not even fun. It's not an exaggeration when I say EVERYTONE. It's like bungie has turned my bullets into feathers and put me in big head mode..
I was never a god, but I could more than hold my own (been flawless over 100x).. but the past 2 weeks (during IB and especially trials) I have turned into a traffic cone..
Anyone else in the same boat? And did you find a way out?
Edit: yeah its official, I'm a huge scrub now. Can barely go positive. Getting MLG sniped by the worst of the worst. I think it's time to hang it up. It was fun while it lasted. But I need to go find my thumbs, apparently I lost them a couple weeks ago.

I didn't bring it up. Many of you did. But I experience the same thing! You'll go something like 30-8 and 6 of those deaths will be some MLG snipe from the same guy while your sliding or drilling his face with a primary or in a super.. and you think "man that guy is carrying his team he's a pro.." and then you look at the scorecard and he's one of the worst players in the lobby and all of his kills and points are from you.. [i]this is all too real[/i]

I've noticed a huge spike in the last two days since those two consecutive hot fixes. I've never been any good at pvp and my lifetime average kd is around .9 but since those two updates matchmaking has been throwing me into games with players waaaaaaay out of my league. Overnight I've plummeted to about .3 ave. I had a 1-16 game ffs! I get one-shotted constantly and even when I hit 4-5 straight shots I barely dent the shields. It's become impossible to play. I don't know what they changed but it's destroyed what little enjoyment I derived from pvp. Unless it changes again I am out. It's just no fun.

And as usual, I get the motley crew of short bus kids on my team while the enemy team is practically the Globetrotters.

same here.. i only play 6v6 objectives and most times ill attack a capture point shottie someone in the face and it dont even drop his shield. then he just punches me dead.. like not moving dead

I've felt the same as you. Going up agains guys with a 1.0 kd and they wreck me. It doesn't make sense because my gunplay is way better than theirs. Mostly I get sniped and messed up by TLW. I'll give you a tip. Pick one subclass and one reliable weapon and just perfect it. Stop switching around. If you need to enter a sniper lane, jump into it instead of walking in. Spec for discipline strength so that you have a stronger neutral game. Use weapons with third eye so that you always have the upper hand while shooting. Go into rumble and get your skills back. Most people have just perfected sniping (it is so easy) and really have no map movement skill or actual gunskill. I hope these tips helped. Good luck!

Last week my flawless match was against a 0.9,0.56 and a 0.7 Kd, so basically what that says is for the most part they can't win their 1v1's for toffee. They 5-0'd us and didn't miss a shot, collapsed like a bunch of sweaty nutsacks on a virgin and had the decency to teabag after every kill too. Guess some jobless losers have a lot of spare time in their parents houses doing feck all other than destiny all day and night. I've basically tried to force myself to just let it slide. I still get salty as much as the next guy and send the odd message of my dismay at certain people's playstyles including their lack of gunskill, I know its a waste of time, but it saves me pulling my hair out in wondering why I even play anymore lmao

Simple answer. If you are getting out sniped, challenge at different angles and you will destroy them. These kids whatch a stream and think they are gods hardscoping the obvious lanes for 352 years without descoping to check radar.

Player base is decreasing and the only people who stay r people who are actually good. So u find those people and even if bungie implements cbmm u will still meet a ton of sweaty people

Lol, yeah. IDK what's goin on but it seems that using the same gun in the same manner does not produce the same results. Something fishy is afoot. I used NLB primarily for at least two months and became quite proficient at using it. After the update I see the round track right through someone's head and do nothing. I'll lower the sights and still miss. I got to play with a friend I haven't played with in a while and he witnessed several missed shots and was surprised and asked why I completely suck with it now. That's just one gun though, one example. I could make a longer list but I'm kinda lazy. I feel ya though. Something has been tinkered with, and not the fun sexual tinkering.

3 Repliesi am not a pvp guy but i think i doing ok on inferno mode i do like 20 sometimes 30 kills in game of course i die a lot too but is fun, i have seen people with the osiris emblem just doing 4 kills and like 12 or 30 deaths. my setup primary weapon grim citizem 3 or shadown price or paleocontact jpk-43 special weapon telesto or sniper rifle sometimes a shotgun but rarely heavy weapon a rocket launcher that i don't use because inferno doesn't drop heavy ammo.
