I felt really bad using this
Red Dot-ORS
Headseeker
Fitted Stock, Hand-Laid Stock, or Injection Mold
Glass Half Full
It dropped for me as a postgame reward during this weeks IB. What do you think? Can you top it?
EDIT 1: if all you're going to say is that the vendor roll is better, I'd love to hear why. I've got my own thoughts and opinions on it but they're mine and I want to know yours.
EDIT 2: 700 replies! keep it coming!

2 RepliesRed dot oas, counter balance, perfect balance, glass half full Only thing better for me would be feeding frenzy and/or head seeker
-
Brace frame would be better as a middle perk You would get a shit ton of stability and lose 6 shots...that way you get to your glass half full faster
-
1 ReplyNerwin's Mercy time to kill isn't that great as it is. Headseeker is a useless perk because it only works with 2 out of the 3 rounds after landing a body shot with the first one. You play against a top player using GoM or hawksaw and you'll get owned.
as long as you like the weapon it's all that matters
1 Reply@Ghosted Exile: Dude, that's a great (not god) roll! The scope could be better, but Headseeker and Glass Half Full are excellent perks. The middle column has great perks too.

Edited by TheRottenApple19: 7/24/2016 6:18:57 AMMine has red dot-OAS, counter balance, hand-laid stock, and glass half full
-
2 RepliesI bet you can't wait to get disappointed by how bad it is.
-
Heatseeker and glass half full are useless on a low impact weapon...... what you want is feeding frenzy with reactive reload or third eye.
-
Use that on a Hunter with Knucklehead Radar and you should average 25kills a game.

1 ReplyRed Dot-OAS Counterbalance Lightweight / Braced Frame / Injection Mold Glass Half Full Dropped at 335.
-
18 RepliesGrasp of malok > any other pulse rifle
-
2 RepliesThe one Saladin has at Rank 5 is better IMO

5 RepliesEdited by SamSu916: 7/24/2016 3:47:46 PMWell for one... Red Dot ORS is probably one of the less favored scope. I personally dislike the scope because stat wise and zoom wise, it gives very less stats and too much zoom in compared to the better Red Dot sights. Headseeker is probably one of the worst perks for pulse rifles, I'm amazed people still don't realize this. Your middle column best choice of perk is Hand-Laid Stock which is also a bad choice since this pulse rifle type thrives in longer range encounters as Hawksaw archetypes will shred you within its intended range. Not only that, it increases the stability to beyond the threshold which is why braced frame in this category isn't that great either. Perfect balance would be the best for this archetype as it nearly caps it without costing you anything. Glass Half Full unfortunately is a terrible perk. I still don't understand til this day why people thinks that it's actually good. No seriously, go into PvP or the fields and test out the damage difference, it's very neglible and doesn't change the time to kill. This and Headseeker does not change the time to kill in PvP. Maybe in very specific scenarios it'll help you change your time to kill if you messed up badly with the shots but overall it's not very reliable. While counterbalance isn't completely necessary for this archetype, it's still one of the "better" perks and feeding frenzy is always going to be an amazing perk unless you literally empty out your weapon all the time without reloading in between. I'm not trying to put you down but if you do the math, you'll realize that none of the perks you have really changes your fastest time to kill nor will it compete well against the same archetype pulse rifle due to the shorter range. Honestly if I were to choose the top rolls for this archetype it would be one with - Red Dot-OAS, Red Dot-OES, or Red Dot-Ores(some may dislike it but it is statistically the best) Rangefinder, Counterbalance, or Outlaw Perfect Balance or Smallbore. The middle column of this area isn't great. Braced Frame is doable as long as it has a reload speeding perk like Outlaw/Feeding Frenzy. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about Hand-Laid Stock since having rangefinder won't actually cover the range loss here. Third Eye, Spray and Pray, Feeding Frenzy, or Grenadier for low discipline builds. Army of One I guess works too but if you're in anything but rumble it would very rarely activate. This is all my opinion of course but I'm very specific when it comes to perk uses. Generally I weigh out the pros and cons of having that perk over another.

Or...My grasp of Malok with: OAS Counterbalance Smallbore Glass half full

1 ReplyYou got the drop as me :)

Almost every pulse like that is a beast. I don't care what anyone says. I still have my 3 little words. Best rifle type I've ever seen. Stat wise that is. I'll put it on my hunter in a sec. Head seeker, sling, and glass half full. It has field scout wich back in the day gave it a 40 something round clip. That's at least 5 bursts that do double damage. Sadly it got changed. Now its just mediocre . Sit in the back and pick off kills

1 ReplyAverage at best. But then again, it's all about preference. I prefer my Grasp with Rangefinder, Braced Frame, & Army of One OR my Counterbalance, Rifled Barrel, & Last Resort Grasp. Or even my Counterbalance, Hammer Forged, Hand-Laid Stock Hawksaw. I much prefer higher rate of fire and higher stability over everything. Again, it's all about PREFERENCE. You may love one weapon and everyone else hates it. Doesn't mean it's bad.

Better Pve roll than pvp
-
1 ReplyThats actually a terrible roll. Headseeker rewards inaccuracy. Which is good if youre a bad player. Glass half full requires you to get to the bottom half. Most good players reload when given the opportunity so you dont end up out of bullets in a gunfight
-
Good, but unfortunately it still will get beat by hawksaw, pdx, grasp..I have "Jesus" roll weapons but I know they can't compete currently

Listen here if you miss your favorite year 1 legendary! How's this for an idea: everyone gets the option of bringing ONE year 1 Legendary up to year 2. Think about it, all the perks on it that you love, and being able to take it with you as you go forward in destiny! It could be any gun... (NOT exotic) Like this post and spread the word if you like this idea and maybe we'll get bungie's attention!
I literally hate anything with a pulse in front of it and a rifle at the end
-
6 RepliesI perfer my 3 Grasps. I also have 2 Nirwens with counterbalance braced frame and third eye. But grasps wrecks all pulses.
-
I own 5 from this IB and infused at least 3 into other primaries. Still testing them out
-
You can just go buy the future war cult one with the same rolls. And it's better than nerwins
-
I would like to just turn my The Messenger into a Y2 gun, it still eats people alive in regular crucible...
