You may hate me for this.
Dare I say that I prefer to play against shotgun rushers? It's speeds up the game so much, and who SERIOUSLY enjoys a whole team of doorway hardscopers? There are some snipers still but I'm having a good time with the game being more fast paced.

It's still filled with Snipers. They are still more reliable at close range than shotguns.

all day. when you play actually fun shooter games like overwatch or doom you realize very quickly how slow paced and campy destiny has become

To each their own. I don't hate being shotgunned as much as I hate being headshotted. Brings me joy knowing how potentially mad the opposing team is going to be when they eat my 1000 yard stare.

I can't tell which is worse, someone who hard scopes two feet around a corner, or that guy who literally slides everywhere with an universal remote.

1 ReplySnipers are boring to use. You can't yell "Leeroy Jenkins" while hard scoping. But nothing is better then playing a trials match, having an adult beverage, and sprinting at the other team with shotguns and last words. It's the murican thing to do. And if you don't like it, then you ain't murican. And I'll drink to that!

I honestly don't get why this post is getting so much hate. This isn't a post telling ppl not to use snipers. It's just apost saying they like seeing shotgunners. I get it I love getting a ToO with shotgunners, that way I know it will be a fight. Yes I'm gonna lose but id rather get shotgunnen in the face then get hit with a bullet from someone I don't even see.

What's with all the "other people play in a way I don't like!!!???" = cancer nonsense? Play the game you paid for the way YOU want and let the other people who paid for the game play the way THEY want. If snipers enrage you...don't frolic through the hallways in Pantheon. If getting blasted in the face with a shotgun as soon as you round a corner makes you hate life...look at that red flashing pie wedge on your radar and just walk away and fight another day. Hate it when a stupid space wizard fries you...when you hear that thunder...GTF out of there and pick their ass off once they're done floating around. Did Ryu cry when he got flash kicked by Guile? Did Captain Shepard get all depressed when he jumped out of that ship and ended up just a hand? And did Galoka think that the Ulus were too ugly to save? NO! Just. Play. The. Game. Be mad about actual problems like lag or getting disconnected mid-match due to "contacting Destiny servers". Don't get mad about another player outplaying you with the mechanics and tools available...just get better.

yes I agree you all equip double shotguns, I laugh my ass off at people running around with shotguns. soon or later the whole team of sweaty try hard with shotguns run into massive roadblock of teams of 4+ shooting right in their freaking face all the freaking time

I played with a shotgun all of year 1. I play with either the stillpiercer or the queenbreakers bow nowadays. Of course I use them very little, killing 53% with primary weapons and only 17% with special. That's the problem with destiny, it's not using shotguns or snipers, it's how dependent everyone is on special weapons. Use primary weapons. You'll have a lost more fun than with special.
