How is it possible to be this new?
It really blows my mind as to how many people have never done Crota's end or know of it. I'm trying to do tier 3 court of oryx right? These idiots run in, grab the sword and run at him and try to hit him without waiting for us to take his shield down. I ask them if they've ever done Crota's end before and they don't even know what I'm talking about

I never done vault of gras or crota or the taken king raid or trial osiris either. And I am not the only one. People tend to forget that only a tiny tiny %of destiny gamers have done the raid.

I hate to break it to you but a large population of the player base has never , ever done a Raid before let alone completed one.

I started in October, made it my mission to run the Fabled VoG and CE I spent so much time reading about. Even with CE's problems it's still super fun. VoG is the best raiding experience I've had since my WoW days. I really wish they were needed for advancement in the story or prerequisite for KF as they teach team work and how to use the game mechanics. They should just quit with the BS and bring up as weekly challenges, would make people happy and even bring in more gear diversity. Hate rolling to the tower/reef and there is another (insert class) that looks like me.

Well seeing as the old content is obsolete, it makes sense that nobody else would want to play it. Instead of complaining on the forums, why not send them a party invite and help them out by explaining it to them?

I get what you're saying, but with the game progression acting the way that it does, it's no surprise that Y1 activities would be completely unknown to newer players. Anyone that started playing after HoW really had no need to even attempt CE unless they were going for the Triumphs. There was nothing that was pulling them back to it. You've got one of two options, take them by the hand and show them how it's done or sit back with some popcorn and watch them learn the fight the hard way.

1 ReplyGot really frustrated trying to get Thalnok done last night for a mate who was trying to get the fragment. Same story as you. Kill wizards, ads, sword carrier go to pick up sword as mate drops Thalnok, random grabs sword and swords himself off the map. Starting to wonder whether some guys are just trying to be pests, or are they genuinely that bad? Ended up going to orbit after about 5 attempts, flew back in an get it done first try with a different random. I swear Crota is easier to 2 man than do this weeks court. Last week soled tier 3 in about 20 secs.

you have to understand one thing , most of the players these days are preteens mostly 13 and under, they do not know how to or are even willing to try to learn anything except , kill kill kill. makes you worry about the future of the human race .

I ran into that problem a few months back. I am not even a Y1 player myself, though I did try the game out just didn't like it at the time. Anyway I knew what to do with the sword and was able to kill him. But it took a few tries to finally get the idiots there to catch on to what they were suppose to do. Then a couple of weeks ago me and one guy did in a few tries. All because I needed that fragment to hit 50. Took us like 3 tries but we finally got it. Came so close every time too.
