Remember when Division was going to kill Destiny?
How well did that go? I literally haven't heard anything else about it from anywhere since April. It's far behind Destiny on Twitch as well
Btw, not bad-mouthing the game because I haven't played it. It's just that so many people came to the forums talking down because we play Destiny & that Division was better in every way yet hasn't survived long.

4 RepliesNow it's overwatch, since I first looked at the forums it's been bo3, sw battlefront, halo 5, fallout 4, the division and dark souls 3 had a run on here for about a week before launch. The humorous fact about this is it builds for weeks before launch then we act like the debate never happened! I think guardians may have short term memory glitches.

The division has been plagued with bugs/glitches since the start, but at least they are pushing out constant patches and fixes and not nerfing the shit out of everything, so they get a bit of credit there. I still play both games though despite their flaws, destiny on the reset and maybe a bit the next day, division I'll do the dailies and maybe some dz. I probably still play fallout more than those two though, and gta is always fun just to jump on and have fun for a few hours.

8 RepliesWell it's killed Destiny for me. Haven't played since launch. And BTW the servers are pretty full everytime I jump into the DZ and it takes no time to matchmaker with other players. The Division is healthy at the moment, but the DLC and future updates will define whether it lasts or not.

No one cares, except you and everyone else who keeps bringing up 'Oh look, Destiny isn't dead, even though this game was supposed to kill us!' You're just looking for an ego stroke. They won't call them MMO's but in the MMO world there's an old rule that applies to these "shared world" games just as much, Launch strong or your gone. These games have a small window to come out swinging and if they falter its damn hard to recover from the let down after the months of hype they receive. The Division came out bugged as hell and now has that stigma associated with it and may never be rid of it.
