335 W/ No Raids, TOO, Nightfall or POE 42
Yes it can be done. With some hard work, grinding and luck. I have never raided, done The Trials Of Osiris, or The Prison of Elders Level 42. Nor will I until they get matchmaking. I reached 335 by doing Heroic Strikes, The Court of Oryx and a lot of Iron Banner (and all solo). I post this today to give hope to those out there that don't want to humble themselves at LFG or don't have a lot of friends standing by to team up with.
Edit: You can also get some great drops if you use the TOC on patrol missions in the Cosmodrome. I have been bagging exotics on the Blight Mission, The Troll Patrol and any of the Taken Champions that pop up there (and on other planets).

I've had one strike item drop since the update. And ugly Titan mark. And haven't had a weapon drop from a strike in months. (Hoping merely writing this will make one drop today). But if I had to rely on that to get to 335 I'd be in trouble.

16 RepliesWhy didnt you solo the lvl 42 as its an easy solo event, and many of the nightfalls can be solo'd. Enjoy the wait for match making its not happening on trials ever and a raid i doubt very much as the whole idea is that its a team event why not stop being stubborn and use lfg like most people have to

Lfg is extremely easy to deal with. I quit this game for two months. Came back about a week ago. Had all 319's. Through raiding and coe, look at me now. I will say though, getting up is extremely easy now.

This is awesome for people who don't have time to sit and raid or for people who don't want to deal with the morons that overflow on LFG. Also congrats. I do play ToO and PoE and I have access to the raid as well (not a fan) and I'm still missing a few things for 335! Iron Banner is dropping all the things my main already has at 335....

I'm somewhat like you. When Destiny came out I had 6 other people that played it. Did Vault of Glass. It was awesome. Sadly over time everyone but 1 person basically stopped playing. Me and him still play. I actually took a break around october from Destiny. Came back for the new update. Enjoying it so far. It is nice being able to level up various ways. I personally haven't reached out to LFG for Kings Fall yet. One day I shall.

1 ReplyYou had to play your 335 character for 1,440 hours to get there. Probably could have got there a lot faster if you raided, and you would have had a lot more richer experience with less grinding.

I just hit 335 yesterday. Never done the raid. But doing Iron banner, trials, poe and strike
