Exotic shaders! (Ideas)
Here are some ideas I had for exotic shaders!
1: [u]Double Rainbow[/u]
Basically a changing rainbow shader, no explanation needed.
2: [u]Flame-light[/u]
Orange and red, with a kind of smoke coming off your body.
3: [u]Void-spray[/u]
Dark purple with what looks like the nightfall xp boost, but purple coming out of your entire body.
4: [u]Arc-chain[/u]
Light blue with arc energy chaining around your body.
5: [u]Hidden light[/u]
Green camo with random parts of you body disappearing, like hunter cloaking.
Tell me any ideas you have!

Why do they have to be exotic? That's just as stupid as the year 1 flawless emblem. It doesn't make a difference!

3 RepliesDisco ball. "Strange pre-golden age technology, is my foot moving?" Chroma changes colors, silver type shader, and when dancing, you flash beams of light around, like a disco ball. I want to be able to have an exotic for each of my gear. Exotic sparrow Exotic emblem (Eye of Osiris) Exotic weapons. Exotic armor. Exotic class items (faction, Collector's) Exotic ghosts. Exotic emote (Please be earnable, not just eververse) Exotic sparrow horn (SRL should make a comeback) That's something I want to see.

I like the idea of shaders with elemental appearances, like flames coming off the wrists and head, sparks arcing along the armor etc. I also think it would be cool if you could cycle the colors: Most shaders have 3 colors, the inner circle, outer circle, and square background fill. Say, Blue, Orange and Pink for this example... So you equip the exotic shader and some parts of your armor are blue, some orange, and some pink. You hit the cycle button and the blue/pink changes. You cycle it again, and the orange/pink changes. Or have the three colors of the shader and you can activate or deactivate a certain color.

I think the cloaking one is a little.. Nah. But the others are cool. Great idea. My friend had a similar idea but it was more like an overflow when your super is charged. If you used any arc class you'd have electric tracing around you, flames if you're a solar class and so on. Shaders would be cool though.

I think they should be iconic similar to the new taken armour. Perhaps a texture more than a particular colour to give an "exotic" shader a unique aspect.

1 ReplyMy little pony Bright pink with violet tones around the edges, rainbow motif on the back, Fake tan All over leathery orange with a pasty White neck. Shellsuit All over shimmering/ satin blue with white stripes up the sides of the arms and legs.
