3 RepliesWith the right roll, Arminius D is the best autorifle in the game hands down. DoP is a close second though. DoP is probably better for casual and new destiny gamers as it is slightly easier to use with the recoil. The hard core base tends to use Arminius (some won't admit it because they like to show off the Adept name that they worked hard for but those are usually the guys who got carried to the lighthouse).

It zeros you in on your target (helps you ignore the horrible muzzle flash) and doesn't zoom in or ruin peripheral vision. It also gives you a slight range boost. I've been rocking this roll in IB - and man is it a killer - (I'd like the same roll with "Glass half full" instead of "Crowd Control") I have used guns like Necro and Doctrine, both are great, BUT this is a worthy gun. Must try.

4 RepliesIf doctrine is better than arminius then it should be nerfed big time. This gun is op from my one day of using it. Tlw might outgun you at close rage but you will win at any other range. Also equip longer range scope. Its really ggod

Dont know what recoil you all are experiencing mine doesnt have much, and Ive beaten TLW, DoP players so many times now. Works very well in conjunction with venom grenades and normal ones on my nightstalker, yesterday was averaging close to 20 kills a game in IB. Partial refund, persistence, and braced frame are my rolls on one. The other I have on my warlock is pretty decent with focus fire. The only disadvantage to it is its range, either gun the damage drops off at about far midpoint. That might be the only way the gun could be beaten soundly.

1 ReplyI hate that stupid extra sight at the end of the gun. That alone ruins the gun for me. I do have a doctrine with counterbalance though.

1 ReplyIt's good if you don't have Doctrine with Counterbalance. Only problem is the muzzle flash but still a very strong Auto Rifle.

This thing shreds people and Iron Banner control lets the crowd control perk shine with groups of people on capture flags. Several people have already compared the recoil patterns of this roll Arminius-D with CB Doctrine, the videos show the Arminius-D recoil to be better. I am not making any statements that it is better than a CB Doctrine (I don't have one to compare), but it is better than my Rangefinder Doctrine as far as predictability and consistency and last weeks roll with Persistence. I am very happy with it and having a lot of fun hosing people down, plus I just love the sound it has.

9 RepliesI played with it for several matches last night. It is certainly very good, and I did well with it. I would say this roll is better than the doctrine when it has rangefinder, rodeo, and hidden hand But, you are a damn fool if you think it is better than the doctrine with counterbalance
