Lag switching the IB AGAIN ?!?
That's all. I've only been in IB all of 20 min now and so far 2 out of 3 1st place players have had red dots on their signal strengths. Coincidence?

The lag is real. Run into it last 3 of 4 games.

Also You shouldn't feel bad about losing to lag switchers , if you ask me it's a win because they're too pussy and scared to take you on fairly so ultimately they already acknowledged you are better before you even started ;) always look on the bright side my fellow guardians

I don't knowif it's lag switchers or just my worst Ib yet but it's been horrific. I normally play with friends from the US, I'm in the UK and there usually is a bit of lag, but this is off the scale I'm terms of weird laggy, glitchy stuff going on,it's borderline unplayable now unless you're happy losing because of this

3 RepliesYes it is. I swear, after seeing posts like this for the past 10 months, I'm honestly ready to gouge my eyes out just to never have to acknowledge a post like this ever again. It's not -blam!-ing lagswitching just bc the guy is red bar and happens to be at the top. Just bc your butthole is puckering bc you can't snipe or shotgun him bc he has 1/10 of a second delay doesn't mean he's lagswitching. Watch a video of someone admitting to doing it, and you'll see what it actually is

Sorry to tell you But majority of the time the issue is destiny and being tight ass on fixing their server and connection issue , I'm from Australia and I know a huge percentage of people from here and other countries suffer red bar regardless , but also saying that we suffer genuine lag and it helps not one bit , it's absolutely painful , I don't know how lag switching works but believe me genuine lag is a right pain in the butt

2 RepliesWell to me the damage referee isn't completely doing its job. If a person is lagging they should never be at the top. Honestly if a person can't keep a consistent connection they should be immediately kicked.

I run with a buddy who lives in the sticks on Big Island Hawaii. He has red bar often. It's more a detriment to him. He doesn't glitch around the map, certainly is mortal; hiwever, his melees never register, his fire grenades never ignite, and every other shot is null. He still does well.

You rarely see it in regular crucible. It does happen, but rarely. IBM on the other hand is fckn swarmed with the laggers.

Same for us last night. If we saw a red bar we knew they would be tops for their team. I saw a Hunter do a Titan smash, a Warlock that moves like The Flash, and a teleporting Titan.

10 RepliesRed barring is not lag switching. That's just bad connection. If they were green barred and still teleporting or taking rockets to the face like a champ [i]then[/i] it's lag switching. Know your enemy.

4 RepliesPlayed hours of matches the last 2 nights, maybe encountered 4 or 5 people lagging pretty bad. Other than that these are the most fun, enjoyable IB matches I've ever played.

3 RepliesThey are just abusing their connection. Learn to play around it or just leave the game and find another. People still want to play the game to have fun even if they are playing at 300 ms. I know it because it happens to me sometimes. Its not lag switching.

6 RepliesNot lag switching. Lagging. Intentional or not is a moot point. Lag switches dont cause permanent red-bar. They cause a lag spike that lasts a few seconds.
