It Is Time For You To See...That Division Sucks
Ok everyone. Now that we've played Division for a few weeks it's time we agreed on something.
It sucks.
Destiny is and will always be far superior to The Division for so many reasons. I'm not going to review the games here. Just the facts.
Destiny is better. By a lot.
Oh man, this thread is already interesting and it's been like 30 minutes. I love you all.
For those who are craving real facts, read this.
It took me a year and a half to become bored with Destiny and that's only because Bungie can't seem to competently manage their game. Hopefully that changes. It took me 2.5 weeks to become bored with the Division. 2.5 weeks and I'm level 30/52, have all high end 31 stuff, have completed challenge story every day... I'm bored. Fact.

23 RepliesI'm playing the division right now. I can surely tell all of you that after you kill the final boss, and complete all the side missions (takes one day) it is basically pointless to continue on. Don't waste your time.

How is someones subjective opinion on whether or not they enjoy a game factual evidence that it's bad or good? You're bored, so that means the game sucks? Nope don't think so.

2 RepliesI will say this. I don't think that The Division has longevity without a steady and constant stream of new content. That said I don't believe that Destiny will have the longevity that Bungie is hoping for with this April Update.

2 RepliesI just don't see the division as a long term like a i do destiny. Division is good for what it is but it'll never have the replayability that destiny has. Its good for a side game just like fallout was, but only destiny is elite!

45 RepliesMate... Step back and let me tell you why The Division is better. 1) STORY. There's an actual story. Competently implemented fully into the game. 2) NO GRIMOIRE CARDS. All the lore ARE FOUND IN THE GAME. 3) MATCHMAKING. If I have to go outside the game and use a third party website to find people to play a mode which requires a team, that aspect of the game has failed. And Destiny failed! 4) BETTER PROGRESSION. Finally a game where all I have to do is put time and effort into in order to progress. No stupid light levels that requires me to get lucky to reach max level. 5) APPEARANCE. I can make my character look however the hell I want without fear of it affecting my skill, or equipment just because I want to look badass.

Keep playing the same shit in Destiny. I'm sure in year 9 when you're playing PoE 8.5 you'll be just as happy and just as clueless.

I won't waste another minute replaying old content. Looks like I'll be waiting for a while. 8 months for a POE reskinned and a strike reskinned that wasn't even in the rotation when it was normal.

1 ReplyI've got under 2 days under my belt with the Division. One thing that absolutely is piss poor is when I try to play with a lower level friend the enemies scale up above his level. I have played with a bunch of awesome randoms who are extremely friendly, the only time you find that on Destiny is when the person sounds baked out of their minds.

Everyone has their own opinions. I don't agree with yours though. I'm a day 1 destiny player all the as up to Dec last year. Destiny has since been uninstalled off my hard drive, the division has replaced it. Playing solo gets kinda bland, games 100% more enjoyable with friends, but so is destiny. I've met alot of cool people in the dark zone though running solo, the whole in game mic chat helps.

Firstly, compare Vanilla Destiny to Vanilla The Division. Secondly, the Division's management highly outranks that of Destiny's. The only realistic problem with The Division, is the lack of content. That point is entirely valid. Otherwise, if The Division had the same amount of content as Destiny, The Division would be leaps and bounds ahead.
