It Is Time For You To See...That Division Sucks
Ok everyone. Now that we've played Division for a few weeks it's time we agreed on something.
It sucks.
Destiny is and will always be far superior to The Division for so many reasons. I'm not going to review the games here. Just the facts.
Destiny is better. By a lot.
Oh man, this thread is already interesting and it's been like 30 minutes. I love you all.
For those who are craving real facts, read this.
It took me a year and a half to become bored with Destiny and that's only because Bungie can't seem to competently manage their game. Hopefully that changes. It took me 2.5 weeks to become bored with the Division. 2.5 weeks and I'm level 30/52, have all high end 31 stuff, have completed challenge story every day... I'm bored. Fact.

I've had enemies spawn under the map leaving me unable to progress, collectables not spawning (or if they do most of the time I collect them and they just respawn to be collected again never giving me the progress), stairs not loading into the game world leaving me unable to progress, and in a half hour I fell threw the map 4 times! Biggest glitch fest ever lol

1 ReplyThanks for your opinion on the Destiny forums. I would disagree with you though. Also, if you do a side-by-side comparison with Destiny at launch and The Division at launch, you'd see that they aren't all that different as far as content goes.

3 RepliesI don't see how your feelings are facts. But Kay. And I really doubt it took a year and a half. You can be bored of something and still play it. Also comparing a game that's had a year and then some to improve versus a game that's had only a few weeks is skewed. Either compare launch destiny to the division or don't compare till the division has gotten that time as well. Trading is coming April. And matchmaking existed day one for all activities. Far as I'm concerned division is already ahead. It's simply lacking content right now. Destiny is a social game that doesn't support social behavior. The division is also a social game. Trading, matchmaking, and proximity voice exist here. So sure. You can enjoy destiny. You can even like it more then the division. But it's not a fact that one is better then the other. They are both very different. But of the few things they share the division does it right. And that is a fact.

The whole taking a year and a half to get bored thing is definitely true for me. I don't know why, but out of all the cool games I've played on PS4 Destiny has held my attention the longest.

I put around 50 hours into The Division, and I enjoyed my time immensely. Intense co-op gameplay, great graphics, and an awesome loot system. However, I'm slightly burned out, and I haven't spent much time in the endgame. But considering how much time I've invested into it, I'd say I've got more than my money's worth. $60 for 50 hours of incredibly fun gameplay is enough for me.

My group of friends and I are all enjoying this break from destiny, playing division. Dark Zone with friends is so much fun. But we've all agreed that Destiny is where it's at and we will always enjoy destiny more.

I'll continue playing in the Dark Zone and looking for that best gear setup (similar to what I was doing in Destiny). I like Destiny better, but The Division is still a good game that's holding my attention at the moment. It will be interesting to see what the DLC will be like. I got the season pass so I'll find out soon enough. I'll be bouncing between both games back and forth until the Fall 2016 game releases.

23 RepliesI'm playing the division right now. I can surely tell all of you that after you kill the final boss, and complete all the side missions (takes one day) it is basically pointless to continue on. Don't waste your time.
