Is there like a way I can get it for minus the monthly fee, I'll pay for the expansions or even the base game (right now im playing the starter version and im only level three but so far it's ok, can't judge it well because my computers shit) but paying 15 bucks a month seems like much to me, Id prefer i give them money now and they give me the game, then I give them money later and they give me an expansion, also bonus question is it ok to get expansions out of order or is do I have to get them in order
Edit: I'll just do a yearly subscription and get the expansions as I go, or the ten dollars for 5 of them If that's legit, Iets hope I don't become addicted, any tips to stave off addiction?

Yah the only way to keep going is threw the 15 bucks but try and limit yourself because it becomes aggressively addicting

1 ReplyIf you can get the gold you can buy game time with it.

Na drop the sub fee until legion unless you really wanna grind a character to max before then. Most people just ditch the fee once they've geared and wait for the updates to come out

3 RepliesIn defense of the sub-fee, once you're at max level you'll likely be pushing Raid content if you want to get the full experience. The fee helps pay for new things in the future, like expansions and content. Dont sub right now, get to level 20 on a character or two and wait for Legion.

4 RepliesEdited by HuhbZ: 3/18/2016 6:56:03 PMDon't play it. You're playing the watered-down version. It used to be great fun. ...then it ended Edit : Guild Wars 2 and Rift are non sub based...both fun

12 RepliesWorld of warcraft is a trap. Cancel your subscription and pretend you never played it if you know whats good for your wallet.

If you have around 35k gold you can buy a token to exchange for a month of game time. But you're level 3, so you probably don't

3 RepliesEdited by Psyntifik: 3/18/2016 4:51:25 PMNo. It's not a F2P, it's as simple as that. Also, why would you get the expansions out of order? It's $10 for all the expansions excluding the latest, that also gives you one month.

2 RepliesYou can pay 60 bucks for a year sub. If i remember correctly.

12 RepliesEdited by Thezzanman: 3/18/2016 12:55:09 PMYes there is. It DOES require a bit of work soloing old raids and running a garrison in the latest expansion. You can now use in game gold to buy game time. When it first came about, tokens were around 20k but they're more like 34-38k for one month now. Each expansion has a specific level min/max too. Base game gets ya up to lv 60. Burning Crusade is the 1st expansion, access starts at level 58, and caps out at 70. Wrath of the Lich King is the 2nd, access at 68, 80 cap. Cataclysm starts at 80, 85 cap. Mists of Pandaria starts at 85, 90 cap. And the newest expansion, Warlords of Draenor, starts at 90 and goes to the current cap of 100.

There is a way to pay for your subscription with in game gold but it takes a while to get all the gold needed to pay for 1 month. Its also highly unlikely that youll make that amount of gold with just a free account.
