For the people saying: Your stats suck!
I strongly believe that stats don't matter, because if all you play is competitive sweaty's your kd's going to suffer, If you do challenges, FE: no weapons or knive kills only, your KD is going to suffer! The only thing that matters is if you can win when you're looking to win! Please, could you stop caring about stats and look at the bigger picture?

When anyone is playing a game that has respawn and active radar, stats don't mean crap! Destiny doesn't even have private lobbies and with that, it will never be a competitive shooter! I like this game and only play to have fun! I don't and never will care about stats in a respawn, active radar game!

I did my best ever in salvage yesterday then bam right down the crapper lol. Only reason i care about stats i so i know i'm improving.

2 RepliesGot into it with a dude over me supposedly camping (got stuck in a room and people kept coming and I couldn't recover). Kept messaging me on having no skill due to the app saying my kd is low. (1.1) continued to harrass me for hours before he was put back into the lobby. 6 games later he rage quit and never once topped me in score and was always at the bottom. A day later ran into him again, same thing. Now we see him enter the lobby and he immediately backs out. Don't let kd or stats fool you.

Attacking your stats is just a way to try and invalidate an opinion, which is beyond sad or try and act superior which is a little tragic. Basically what I'm saying is people can be bad, most are lazy, so why bother having a debate when you can claim your better and call it a day. Sad but it's the nature of awful people. If your good people will notice and comment if not they won't doesn't matter what your stats say. They don't say the entire story however but people will argue otherwise but you know trolls be trolls just enjoy how you play that is all that matters.

A high k/d isn't going to get me closer to exotics, maybe it's just in my head but it seems i get more 3oc drops being below 1.0 k/d, usually get one every 4-6 3oc and i read on here people are dropping 10+ before getting one

Stats can be skewed... My roommate runs crucible sometimes and is god awful lol but I'm not gonna say "don't play" because of a KD stat on a website. Games are supposed to be fun...

1 ReplyMy kd is not where my true skill suggests, why? Destiny was the first online pvp fps I tried (I'm 36yrs old) so I had to learn about the mechanics, what guns and subclass suited me best, because kd means nothing, I spent most of yr 1 as cannon fodder for alot of people looking for help in pvp for their exotic bounties, that continued into yr 2 for chaperone exotic sword ect. But my past 30 days/ 7 days kd is improving as I actually play more pvp to improve myself.

Good stats come natural to high skill players. It would take a lot of -blam!-ing around to make that natural ability drop to below average stats.

Stats killed the fun in games. K/D being the worst of them. I raised my kids to not give a sh¿t about them and just have fun and they do. My boy is a beast in PvP and never looks at his stats. To each there own but worrying abouts stats restricts the way you play.

2 RepliesI like to have my stats where they are now, so that way if someone picks on one of my friends with bad stats, I can make fun of the person picking on them because mine are better than theirs 97% of the time
