Can we all just agree that destiny has the most MLG snipers of any game ever! Seriously! They have explained that there is nothing that helps snipers to get kills and it takes mad skillz to rek nubz (insert MLG air horn).

I actually have a 1K Stare with the exact same perks. Ambush, One Man Army, Armor Piercing & Firefly. I admit I've used it the Crucible a few times and it's very easy to use. But I prefer my Eirene despite it lacking aim assist. I'm excited to try out Wayloran's though.

No sway is the problem that people get confused with thinking its aim assist. Its just generally easy to snipe in this game.

But its trash! And the rocket has a ridiculously low blast radius making rocket HAVE to hit the target for the kill. There's already a ton of better options.

19 RepliesOther weapon types bend bullets. Mainly primaries but probably also machine guns. Snipers do not. Aim assist only affects reticle slow down for them. If u want to test it properly, u need to remove outside factors like lag and movement which requires bringing a friend into classic free for all and finding a quiet area. Primaries will hit crits when the reticle is off, snipers will always hit where you're aiming. There are videos of this for those that have done proper testing online. You also can't rely on videos from people getting shot at because things are usually affected by lag in those situations and they are not in the same position on the shooters screen. U can also test this against phalanxes in pve. Find two scout rifles with varying aim assist and shoot at their hands from a distance. U will need to aim further left on a high aim assist scout than with a low aim assist because the bullets are drawn toward their head and into their shields. Snipers will again, always hit where they are aiming so u can shoot straight at their hand.
