COMMUNITY SAYS - ICE BREAKER EXPLOIT IS A-OK!
Seriously, should it be a report at this point?
Edit: I'm not saying we should, I'm just asking the question. And not about people using it, but about people who use it to refill other specials. I realize sidearms are an issue too.
Edit: ok so the community as a majority says it's not. What if they made a timer where you literally couldn't fire a special weapon until special ammo spawned similar to COD lethal grenades at the start of the match?
Edit: History shows that exploiting this type of thing will get Ice Breaker/Invective Nerfed. #blackhammer #gravitonforfeit #efrideetsspear #atonofstuff

Its always been around...i dont play much in the crucible but this exploit has been around since vanilla...ive used in the nightfall (when the nf really mattered) when juggler was a modifier

No. It's just exploiting and overlooked issue, it's not cheating though.

6 RepliesIf it's really bothering you this much, equip one yourself and maintain a level playing field. If you don't want to, keep out of the snipers line of sight. I'm far from the greatest player here but I've not been having issues with getting special ammo, if you are then look at what YOU are doing as that's the cause of you struggling, not your opponent.

My kd is slowly moving back up since now I'm blinking straight to the enemy team with a primary before special spawns or they gen some ice breaker ammo. I rob special away from everywhere. I see ice breaker. Most of the time they are dead before special spawns.

6 RepliesAs a year 2 player I feel that using icebreaker is wrong and it should be removed from the game. But if I'm being honest, I'd use it as well if I had one. Not gonna report anyone for using it though.

Plus, dreg's promise have an exotic perk in it which allows you to always have ammo on respawn. Furthermore, sidearms in general, they have something to do with their ammo. Anyways, this is why this game gets worse more and more. People wanna nerf everything, even EXOTIC PERKS. So my dear fella, deal with it. Use whatever you want to. Dying for Icebreakers eh? Use another sniper, shotgun whatever. Stop complaining, that's all. What you should do is rush them as fast as you can, if so, they'll regenerate less ammo. But it's easier to ask for nerfs right??
