After almost 2 Years, I finally did it!
Been playing Destiny since the Alpha, played the Beta, and bought/played the collector edition at Launch, I finally did it! I reached 1.0 KD in PVP!
To many this isn't a big deal but to a filthy casual scrub like me, who at around .50 and .60 for the vast majority of my Destiny career, its a big deal!
I've been playing smarter, watching pros, using sweaty strategies and finally figuring out how to use the damn radar. I did it! I'm happy and honestly just wanted to share. Big moment for me, next target .... 1.5 let the grind begin!
[b]EDIT: Quick edit since there are so many jumping the gun to attempt calling me a "liar" about my time of play. Listen did I play every day for almost 2 years, no of course not, there are other games that would take my attention away for a bit time to time. Guys it really is okay not to play Destiny at times, taking breaks is what keeps me from being salty.
Check my game history you will see the dates, I have Supremacy in my vault along with Queen's guard hood. I was there for the OG loot cave, also the day it was patched out. I have the emblem for playing the Beta, the moon mission during beta, and numerous other things that are very clear Year one relics.
Just saying, check the facts before blindly calling someone a liar. [/b]

2 RepliesNice job! Same with me- mostly a PvE player, started out with the 0.6 for a long time. Reached 1.00 a few weeks ago - hit 1.01 two days ago. Had considered turning off the controller vibration (had one match long ago where it was off and I wrecked, but then had a couple where I didn't so I didn't think about it further)- do you really feel it makes that big a difference?

Good job man. Its quite a task to bring your kd from .5 to .6 range up to 1.0 after a year of playing. Don't worry about these all stars lol.

Nice - I'm working on it too! I was at a .9 in PVP combined across all 3 characters and playlists.. Up to .95 after paying attention to what I'm doing in about a couple weeks of playing, and at +32,000 deaths its gonna take some work! But congrats - I too will share in your celebration!

same i think im up to about a .98 total kd but there is like 2000 kill difference thats a big gap for .2 points
