Tryhards in Iron Banner accusing people...
Im sure if you've won a match this week you have most likely gotten a hate message saying to kill yourself because you obviously have a lag switch. I don't know about you, but I am seriously fed up with the destiny community, and honestly don't know if I will ever play iron banner again.I'd like to know your thoughts

9 RepliesTo my way of thinking, if a red bar is at the top 1 or 2 of the leader board, they're likely cheating. If the red bar is at the bottom of the leaderboard, they either suck at cheating or they are victims of a bad connection. I can't kill much when I red bar....

There's some credibility to these accusations. I've detected 3 people running network stressers. Reported via xbox, -blam!- bungie. Also, keep an eye on your opponents connectivity during the game. Bet there all greenbars, untill they or your team get the rift - than your killed by a shotgun from across the map by a guy camping a corner of a room who had ni sight of you whatsoever. Yep. That's lag switch.

9 RepliesLag switchers should be punished. You can watch a 10 minute video on how to lag switch. I haven't done it but Rick Khakis mentioned it and it shocked me mentally.

Most messages I've received this past few days were GG. WoW that tough. Most of the time I get went FRs. All these people who constantly post about all their hatemail really aren't receiving hate mail. They just like to lie because getting hate mail is the new cool thing I guess.

Honestly Bugoe should throw everyone with shotty connection in a match together and all this laggy chumps can see how crappy it playing with them and I don't know about y'all but most of the top players in the matches I was in all had red bars, coincidence dunno, that's for Bungie to look into and decide.

I have never gotten hatemail. One guy sent me a condolence bait message since he "rekt" me with Black Spindle on a Control match a few weeks ago. But since my team won the match with me having the top score I didn't get "rekt". His lazy camping ass sniped me three times the entire match. Some people just don't have anything better to do.

I've won 50-60 games. I'm sure people have tried hatemail, then realised they are blocked by friends only id. Also cause some people are whining doesn't mean everyone in the community is like that. Just block em with friend id :)

2 RepliesI was playing with two guys from our clan. We mercied the team and I got the message from one of the losers accusing us of cheating. Said all three of us had red bars, but they were green every time i seen them. There was zero lag on our end. I have never cheated. It is frustrating. If I'm on a team that is getting smoked I take my lumps and wait for the next match. Lag has always been a part of this game.

Granted my internet isn't the fastest in the first place, I feel like my connection should be better being hard wired. Even after all the efforts to reduce lag and matchmaking changes I'm still red barring. Contrary to what the forum says though, this has not made me an invincible killing machine. Hit detection is a real problem and I was constantly disconnected during the dozen games I played last night.

There could be one of my teammates besides me, but they just go after me. x'D especially when I'm the only one igniting their rift some matches. I'm pretty inconsistent but I've put the mercy rule on quite a few people each day since IB started. I feel a little bad about it so sometimes I'll let them go ahead and get it every once and a while since I know some haven't gotten the top overall score done on the bounty so I'm a nice sport.
