So I completed a nightfall and I got...
A Sparrow Horn Kit!!!
It's like reaching in to my Cracker Jacks and pulling out a used Bandaid as a prize.
What did you get?

At least we can still get strange coins from the weekly...... oops - that got improved in year 2 also.
Well at least exotics and raid weapons are really good..... wait that was year 1 too.
Well at least Luke and the boys were right about getting rid of elemental primaries so there will be weapon diversity.... for high level content you can now pick between the 2 or 3 highest light primaries that you were able to infuse from the crappy RNG system.
Well at least we have 3 raids & PoE to play until they fix the nightfall loot. Check that - make that one raid to play (if you can find anybody left on friends list and LFG).
Well at least they fixed the levelling system in year 2 so you dont have to find a specific piece of raid armor to reach max light like you did in year 1. Now you only have to find the armor + ghost + class item and hope they are all the highest light level (not mention the RNG for guns). We get double RNG in year 2!!! Thanks bungie for double the fun!!!

That's happened to me, too... I got a -blam!-ing clown horn during the SRL from a nightfall, and last week an emote. I've gotten consistently better drops from Shaxx's bounties, but I know that's RNG too

Haven't ran nightfall yet, but I do expect: Strange Coins 295 Armor 310 Exotic Weapon (duplicate...probably NLB again) BTW...I run 303-308 light depending on character

Played trials, completed all my bounties and got blue engrams and a 300 artifact for my 320 Warlock. Well worth the play time.

They wanted to get rid of the weekly ritual feeling and just set it alone as a completely optional challenge. The XP boost was dropped, and bounties give more rep instead. At the time it was mentioned everyone was pleased, because those players who couldn't log in until the weekend would no longer lose out on 4 days of extra XP. Nobody liked the idea of feeling forced to log in every Tuesday. Yet still people run the ritual it expecting the same as year one. And moan when it's not. Most of these changes were bought in based on a year 1s worth of player feedback and data. Whose to blame then? Not luke smith. It's the player base. The grass isn't always greener it seems. As for that other crap about their only being one raid left. Utter shit. All year 1 stuff is still there minus the public events specific to that DLC, like wolves and blades of Crota. It's taken now, it's the taken DLC aftermath were in. It's your own -blam!-ing fault if you choose not to play old raids. Skipping activities available to you is fine. Your choice. Moaning they've been taken away when you choose to skip is moronic. And no, the gear won't be the latest. They are a year old!!!

Didn't play this week's nightfall. I get motes of light and strange coins most often. Last time I got 3 strange coins. I get more than that just running around opening chests for the same amount of time it takes to complete a nightfall. With the exception of SRL (whether you loved it or hated it) rewards have been lackluster in most of the game.
