OH BOY MORE PLAYSTATION EXCLUSIVES

And yeah I'm referring to the gear and items PS users get during the event. I know the sparrow racing will take place on both consoles.

3 RepliesHonestly if sony would invest in dedicated servers then destiny would have it. Halo on Xbox has it, if destiny only had dedicated servers on Xbox then everyone would buy it on Xbox. Its stupid, instead of literally wasting money on timed exclusives Sony would be better off taking that money and putting it into building their own dedicated servers. Console exclusives are the dumbest thing invented by console makers. All it does is give gamers the perception their system is better when in reality it just hurts the gaming experience for everyone. (IE cant get hawkmoon,4th horsemen ever from xur in year 1 and strike can never be the nightfall) Also the exclusives arent that great either lol it wasnt for Xbox last year either. It just has zero benefits.

2 RepliesHaving a game exclusive to one console is fine for me, but when part of the game gets cut out because you are on the wrong console I feel like that is utter cr@p. It's like you pay the same for the same game, and then get stuff cut out, because some contract was signed. It's like if when you bought a TV you were suddenly restricted from some TV shows on Netflix because you aren't viewing on a Sony branded TV, but they still make you pay the same, or if you can't access some content in games (I don't mean graphics I mean like items and missions), because they work exclusively with NVidia cards not because of compatibility, but because a contract was signed somewhere between Nvidia and the dev. You can say "lol why don't you just buy a PS4", oh yes I will definitely buy an entire console just to access a minuet amount of content in a game instead of using the money to buy 4-5 brand new AAA titles.

If a studio such as, let's say CDPR signs a deal to have their next game (or all future games) to be only on the PS, then it just fragments the consumers to a single console. In my opinion, that isn't right. I can understand why a game studio would do it, but I personally object it. What's worse, like with Destiny, are console-exclusive bonuses regarding DLC that pertains to the core game. Weapons and armor pertain to the main game, holding them back because "Sorry, you bought the wrong console!" is just bad for consumers. Wanna have a console-exclusive weapon skin or emote or whatever? Hey that's fine, go for it. But if it pertains to the core game, as in anything that would pertain to gameplay, then it wrong. Just my two cents. I own both a PS4 and X1, if people are curious. Luckily, exclusives aren't as a big deal for me I guess.

13 RepliesI hate exclusives. I'm still drooling so hard over bloodborne, not enough expendable income for a ps4. My life is sad, because I'm legitimately jealous, 99% of that jealousy is just bloodborne exclusivity. Give em an extra sparrow and I might cry at this point. BLOOOOOOODBOOOOOORNEEEEE :(

Yeah, this is a bit ridiculous now. One or two guns? I don't like it, but it's OK. But armor and sparrows. This is kinda dumb. Maybe if the time wasn't so long. A whole year? That's just stupid.
