Is the black spindle mission even worth it
Just spent two hours doing that god forsaken mission and didn't even beat it, I was light 303 and my fire team was 300+, I can believe they made that last room so god damn difficult. I'm never wasting my time on this retarded game again.

Watch Dattos solo video on how to do it, breaks down a strat that's easy for a team to do. My opinion I have a 317 spindle, I outdamage with a 316 Yasmin and 318 sleeper combo

Ok by worth it? Do you mean getting the Spindle? Or just completing the Mission... Personally it's not that hard... Taken are alot easier to kill then Fallen or Hive.... I was only 290 with my buddies who were 295 and 298 doing that mission. It's a fun mission to be honest... I am 309 now, can probably solo it now.... But personally it was because we were all Sunbreaker Titans... So that's probably why we have fun doing that mission....

My group did it, which was surprising because I was 283 light, and they were 300+ light. I took care of blights, while they dps the boss

I only use the spindle on the Echo Chamber strike, and in the raid for Warpriest and Golgoroth. Otherwise it sits in the vault. A viable alternative is the vanguard sold 1000 yard stare with triple tap if you have raid gauntlets for aura reload speed. I wouldn't say you're missing too much unless you're a collector.

The key is having an orb machine. Nightstalker, Defender with GotV, etc

Yes it is worth it. Find players that can actually PLAY. I tried to help my friend out and he had a third guy who was 308, he was garbage. I asked him to bring in someone else, & we did it on the first try.

I got it my first or second try. It really isn't that bad, but it isn't easy.

making the mission as hard as they did, no. the reward at 290 does not justify the difficulty. also its bad content. lets say you get in once, are you likely to replay it every time the mission comes up. In the immortal words of the Stifmeister " Fuk, no !!!"

Yes. Try it solo or with just one other person. It's a lot easier that way.
