Are you satisfied with Light Level 280 Iron Banner gear again?
Simple question, please cast a vote so we can see some real feedback numbers.

I have to admit i was skeptical but the rewards seem legit and to be honest the games run quicker and its intense. At this stage it seems way more rewarding. Seeing alot of the top players getting great drops which is good to see

I had 3-4 chest pieces drop yesterday ranging from 280-303. But the armor that you buy should be at least 290

I think that if you buy the gear it should be at 280/290 but if you got it as a drop then it should be within 10 light above/below you. Besides legendary marks are plentiful if you go do the content for them.

I had a 310 drop. Buddy of mine received 5 chests in 2 hours yesterday between 280 and 308... I take back my complaint below. They may have fixed it.

Bungie's response: You have King's Fall which you can only play 3 times a week conventionally. If you're lucky and that's if, you can use the loot gear from it to infuse your IB gear, since more than likely, you won't get the gear/light level that your character actually needs. My response: it sucks that it's come to this. At least during year one, you got the max or the opportunity to raise the level via experience.

Bungie are you reading this? deej and cosmo look at it look at it now untill your eyes sting and turn red then go to the devs in charge of pvp/iron banner/ reward system slap them in the face write it on a bit of paper staple it to there forehead and take all there crayon privileges off them untill it gets sorted.

3 RepliesThe organic drops are good, I got two different class chests at 310 and 304, arms 304 and the hand cannon, while I disagree 280 should be the vendor bought level of light if they keep dropping at higher light levels I can't complain, starting character 3 tonight

I got a lucky 296 warlock chest and a 302 hunter chest last night. My Titan chest dropped at 292 but that's alright as he was only 288, I'm pretty happy so far with the drops and I've only put in about two hours. Can't wait to see what the packages have in them! I want a ship!!!

I don't understand why the armor is 280. It makes more sense for the guns just because if we really like them we are more prone to actually infuse stuff into them. But the fact that we don't really see our armor, all the perks are passive and with the fact that 2 different sets of armor don't have the noticeable difference that 2 weapons do it just doesn't make sense. I can see them not wanting us to buy a hundred 310 chest pieces to infuse into everything we own, but I think that Lord Salad should have like an IB Engram that gives you a random roll and Light Level armor

Not when blues drop at higher values, no. Should be 300 purchasable, and 301-310 drops from matches.

no not cool at all. Problem is infusion. Good in theory. But clearly broken. Ruined nightfall and iron banner rewards. Also made raid drops even worse then they already where. Not only do you need a specific piece of RNG gear to drop but you need a RNG number as well. DOUBLE the RNG. . . . sigh They just can't seem to get the grind or light level right.

Had a few 305+ drops. You just have to do really crap in crucible to get them :D

When you reach rank five, you get a package with a 310+ gear/weapon drop according to Reddit.

Vendor wise no, but I've only come across one weapon that was worth infusing and it was surprisingly a hand cannon that dropped at a bs 285.

I got a 304 chest piece, so I'm good. Just hope I can get the arms then all I'll need is the helmet.

I've had 4 chest pieces drop for me between 304-307 light so I'm not complaining..

While it's less competitive than Trials of Osiris, it only happens one week per month. I think it'd be fine to have 290-310 light drops.
