Black spindle isn't fair
Not fair when you just have no chance to get it unless you are lucky enough to find yourself with two level 320's who will do the whole thing in 9:59
I've done the mission with about 20 other groups, make it to the end and fail. Same thing happens every time. I usually end up with the most kills, but no matter who I'm playing with, for me, it will be impossible. I don't care if you got yours at 280. Your team probably works better together than my lfg teams. I think the mission should take away the time concept and replace it with a no revive concept

I did it on my first try and then helped 2 other groups of RL friends do it (it took 2-3 tries with them). usually once you make it to the final room (need about 5-6 min I would say in the final room) I always have 2 people focus adds and 1 focus on the boss. Seems to work out. (I am usually on adds). I just use machine gun on the black orbs that spawn more adds, solar grandes rock and solar shotgun melts the guys with shields :P I had no problem

So from what people tell me (who have experience with this type of thing), this is one of the places in Destiny that it has most in common with traditional MMOs, where you have to be very specific in how you're geared, what you do and the time it takes to do it. If you don't do everything exactly right, you fail. I hate that kind of restriction. Hence, I will never get this weapon.

It is far from impossible. Every group I've run through has completed it. Your strategy is not up to par.

All about strategy. I never, ever expected to do it thinking it was impossible. Luckily met someone who knew what to do and WHEN to do it. Completed it with 2mins on the clock.

Use a hunter, have warlock clear adds, shoot tether at the boss. Tear him up with raze lighter, die, revive, and repeat. Then the two who who killing the boss can help with adds. Our warlock used sleeper simulant to take out the blights fast.

2 manes it with my bud we were 301 and 305 had like 1:30 still on the clock too.

Three sun breaker Titans wreck everything.

Did it with 2 290's. Finished with a minute left to kill adds.

I did it the first day it was found and on my second try at 298. It's not hard you just need to go in with a plan and hopefully and Titan with a blessings of light bubble

How we did it was he had 2 people hit the boss with sleeper simulants until he dies, meanwhile the third is running around killing ads and the orbs they spawn from. With 2 unsuccessful runs before we beat it like this with 3 minutes left

Why does so many people claim it to be so difficult? Literally did it with one other person who was below 300 light

Then make an actual team who aren't randoms. It's a lot more stress free with people you know, like my usual fireteam is me and my two cousins

Defender titans with armor of light right next to boss in center with solar swords uppercut. Did it twice in one day just to help others. Send me a friend request and I'll do what I can to help you. Also zhalo supercell helps with ads

Did it with 2 disorganized sub-300 squeakers.
