So apparently the Light Level for Hard Mode Oryx is 320, what will the elitists have to say come Friday??

EDIT 2: To all people saying its 300-320. Please re-read the title... [b]So apparently the Light Level for Hard Mode [u]Oryx[/u] is 320...[/b] I did not say the Light Level for Kingsfall is 320. Oryx is a CP, Kingsfall is the Raid itself which encompasses many CPs. There's a difference lol!
EDIT 3: Oryx being Light 320 will set the standard. Just as Oryx sets the standard in Normal Mode where people now look for 300+ (was 295) players for Fresh Runs when four-fifths of the Raid is Light 290. I am basing the fact that Oryx is 320 because the Weekly update says Recommended Light 300-320, so one can assume Oryx CP will be 320.

It's very difficult to carry someone sub 310 through the Oryx encounter. I beat him twice today and it's a very delicate situation, one death is almost always an instant wipe.

If I had to do lfg, in all seriousness for the first time on hard mode. I would require at least 2 previous ttk normal raid completions for the experience and understanding base mechanics of the raid and at least 305 light.

Fallout 4 will be a nice vacation from these games where you're dependant on other people to get good shit. I'm still gonna play Destiny, but man I can't wait! Don't even get me started on ME4!

Need 5, 310 light guardians, max out gjallahorn, maxout fate bringer, max out efredith spear with final round and unflinching, they must know how to use the relic, and be able to kill hard crota in one sword...

This isn't elitist at all... Hardmode isn't meant to be a place to learn. if its your first run or you never beat oyrx on normal... maybe do that first. I have had 1-2 new people in every run of KF I have done, I have no problem helping people, but under we are all closer to 320, HM is not a place to teach people who haven't raided.

I would say 305 light or higher is fair. 310 is basically saying you need to run regular until you max it out in order to do the hard which is garbage. still don't have black spindle but arms day tomorrow so I can get that raze lighter, heard it's a beast for that mission.

Get to 308, have ToM, 310 sniper, decent LMG. You should be fine.

If I'm not mistaken they already have their teams. The people that cleared Kings Fall on the first day said they were ready for hard mode that's why it got bumped up to this week as opposed to the original plan on the 30th. (In reference to a news post a week or so ago). Elitists is a low term for the above mentioned. They have dedicated full teams set. When you find like people with your same play style and goals, things such as looking for a strike team are rarely a thing. Now [i]the[/i] Elitists you speak of are the ones that cleared before the "average crowd" and likely after the "first day cleared" crowd...the long list of what they'll come and say won't be any different from KF normal.

305+ to start prey for drops 315+ for oryx I'd imagine forth average Joe. Those super skilled raiders will probably do it as 310's
