Titans get shafted once again
As we know, Gunsmith give out a class specific legendary at rank 2 and a exotic at rank 3. Tialoc and Ace of Spades, for locks and hunters respectively, are truly exotic level weapons with unique perks. Tell me what's unique about the Fabian strategy for titans besides the look?
It's exotic perk is crowd control....-blam!-ing crowd control. Is that the best they could come up with?
Don't even get me started on the class legendaries.... Stillpiercer(hunter) is one of the best snipers in the game and the warlock fusion rifle is exotic level in uniqueness. Not to mention t's called -blam!-ing Susanoo for -blam!-s sake.
What do we get? A crap-ass shotgun that can only be used for one subclass in the most situational of situations and requires a perk that NO -blam!-ING DEFENDER USES IN PVE...When was the last time you saw a defender using armor of light in pve? I'll wait.
We finally got some love with Sunbreaker only to get shafted again.
Edit: Adding to the shaft-fest. Bungie took away 90% of the buff they gave shotties, making them only 10% better than vanilla aka trash. Meanwhile, snipers have always been excellent in pve and FRs just got a pve buff.
So immediately following that, what do titans get? A -blam!-ing shotgun. Could have seen that coming a mile away.

2 RepliesI main as a Titan. Did u even look at the exotic perk! It's not crowd control that's just a perk u get for free. The exotic perk is battlefront which is amazing for dps when enemies are near plus life support which makes u regen health add on crowd control and it gets the job done

Yeah, I was kinda mad at the Titan Shotgun. I was like..."This is way too specific/situational to be good." I'll keep it, though.

Wut?! The shotgun is amazing. Forget about the ward perk,I agree it should have been in bubble regardless what perk instead of just armour. But It's trueshine is its incredible fire rate and reload and I mean ridiculously rapid. I take swarms of adds out with it. Specially cabal with there solar shields.

I have 2 Titans and a warlock... I love hand cannons I'm stuck with a pos auto rifle. Hunters are for kids and try hard pvpers. Titan armor is all ugly as -blam!-. Looks like the robot on fox sports.

All gunsmith class specific exotics rn have 3 perks. -Tlaloc has grenadier -Ace of Spades has Third eye -Fabian strategy has crowd control. The actual exotics perks are in the final upgrade node, unlike most new exotics. -Tlaloc: increased handling and RoF while super is charged. Increase from VoC RoF to MIDA RoF. Cool looks, but a basic scout unless you never use your super, so it's great for self res sunsingers, but for let's say PvP, why not just use MIDA? Also eye of the storm is extremely situational, especially on scouts. -Ace of spades: kills move one round from reserves to the magazine. Great perk, although it doesn't give you ammo from nothing (like bad juju), this along with firefly makes it amazing for Mobs, and it has a twirling animation so instant 10/10 IMO. Not much of a PvP gun though, and the lack of unique model or ballistic choice make it a little less potent than it could be. -Fabian strategy: when close to enemies, you gain increased stability and RoF. In PvE this gives it amazing DPS, and along with life support (you'll take hefty damage when close to enemies in PvE), you stay alive. In PvP you get a faster TTK than any other auto in it's class, and crowd control (plus potential of 48 round mag), it's not shitty at all.

Everyone is attacking him for whining but I honestly have similar thoughts. The warlock exotic gets bonuses for having super full d such as rof. The hunter idk what it had going. The titan unlike the other two is basically a nastier auto rifle from the looks of it. I would like it to maybe increase armor I mean they put a shield on it. And class specific items (excluding marks, bonds, and cloaks) is a meh idea imho.

Bungie hates Titans, I don't know if this is new news to you. Look at Deej and Cozmo, both of them had no Titans before Taken King. Probably both still don't.

9 RepliesAre you serious? Titans by far got the best exotic gear from this dlc and arguable the best subclass of the three. I mean come on it take 2 golden gun shots to kill a sunbreaker while in super. How is that fair? And the auto rifle isn't even bad.

This rant is pointless as there's nothing to be butthurt about unless one of those class exclusive primaries deal elemental damage. Otherwise who cares? There are better exotics out there to waste a primary slot on that are not class exclusive.
