Better to buy engrams or the three of coins from xur??
So is it better to buy engrams or the three of coins from xur??
I personally think buying the three of coins as its cheaper and then just farm ultras. Let me know your thoughts on the matter.

I've found buying engrams by far. Engrams are quick and easy, no work required. Or you can buy 10 3coins for ~same price. I've used 40 coins legit, working my ass off killing 40 ultras. I've got 3 exotics. Not worth it in my experience.

2 Repliestoday was the first day I was actually happy with an exotic engram from Xur. First day of HoW, I bought 17 of 'em trying to get Ram, and I got like 8 Titan helms. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A TITAN AT THE TIME!! I still don't have the Ram BTW. Today I got three, (Yes, THREE) Obsidian Minds (Ridiculous), an Insurmountable Skullfort, and Skyburners Annex (why I was happy - FINALLY got a new item on first day from Xur!) so yeah, engrams from Xur have been TERRIBLE for me (until today). I did this three of coins thing for an hour (I was on my Vita, and kept losing wifi - getting kicked, etc. probably would have taken half the time w/o Vita) and I got 5 engrams!! New Suros, New Invective, TWO Alpha Lupis (I almost had a heart attack till I realized one was for a Titan and one for Hunter), and ....wait for it....yes, ANOTHER Obsidian Mind. I hate that helm now.

2 Repliesthree of coins = one exotic every 5 uses that 10 RANDOM exotics for 50 cosumables (70 coins) 10 exotic helmet engrams cost twice as much clearly three of coins it the better deal if you are looking for year 2 weapons

2 RepliesBUNGIE has acknowledged that that the exotic drop chance for the Three of Coins is too high, so get them now while they are awesome.
