Taken King "Sword" I WAS RIGHT!!!
Also there's a Vid and if you go to 23 seconds and look at the bottom left you can see what appears to be a Sword in the Heavy slot!!!!!!

Edit3: also at 23 seconds it looks like he's running the Strangers Rifle but it has Arc burn!!! Also could be Fate of all Fools since that also looks just like strangers rifle!!!!!
Edit to edit3: so the rifle is called the "no time to explain" now if you remember the stranger is the one who said she has "no time to explain" which leads me to believe you will need the strangers rifle and it will ascend somehow into this new, identical, exotic rifle.

3 RepliesAlso, here is a video showing the gameplay for Sleeper Simulant, which also clearly shows it's icon as that of a fusion rifle. It is capable of precision damage, but it can still one-shot wizards, even without a headshot.

I highly doubt that they would add a different icon, if it's a fusion rifle then it will have a fusion icon like vex and QBB

7 RepliesIt can't be the sleeper simulant unless it's a completely new weapon class. The sleeper simulant is supposed to be a fusion rifle that goes in the heavy slot so if it was the sleeper there would be a fusion rifle picture in the heavy not something new. There isn't new pictures for NLB and universal wii-mote so there won't be one for sleeper simulant. Also there is news that quests for Eris will unlock new weapons so it quite possibly could be either a set like in raids, PoE, ToO, etc... or it could be a new weapon archetype. Since swords are commonly used by hive and Eris is obsessed with them it would make sense to get swords from her.
