So my dad took my Destiny CD.
It really bummed me. He says I'm addicted- I don't think so. Check my characters- am I even good enough to be addicted? I mean, it's summer vacation. If I was actually addicted I would have had max grim and al exotics and what not.
Edit- for the record I bought it with my own money, and I'm 17 years old
Edit 2: people saying to buy digital: it would have been smart if it wasn't that stupid. He would have taken the whole PS4...

You're 17. Shut your mouth and do as your told. Once you pay for your own roof over your head you can make your own decisions, until then respect the one who feeds you. In my opinion you're a squeaker who needs to grow up a bit. Once you do that come back. We'll still be here.

4 RepliesA job can help take time away from your day so when you do play video games your parents won't think too much of it. Or maybe hang out with friends. They don't hate the video games. They just hate the fact that you're always home.

9 RepliesI don't know your situation, but overall I would say to respect any decision your parents make. Sometimes it sucks. My dad SHOT my first ps3, and I was... Wait for it... 19! We got along great back then, and still do now. Don't let something like this affect your relationship with him.

Tell them that at this age, you have a say. You still live under your parents rules but that doesn't mean you don't have a right. Tell them that this is how you choose to spend you time. as long as you obviously have time for physical things, and time with family and all that, you should be able to spend your free time how you want. Your parents shouldn't treat you like a 12 year old taking your shit like that. That's probably the best I could do. But hey, one more year man and you won't have to deal with BS like this :)

Parents are tough because generally speaking they mean well but it can come off poorly. If your dad's being unreasonable try talking to him about it and see if you can compromise. If he's being reasonable then make sure you're doing more than playing all day too.
