Should The Lighthouse Be Available Without Going Flawless? (Poll)
The Lighthouse is a great reward indeed, but it is a reward that is available to only 10% of the player base. After giving it some thought, I've concluded that in order to raise the amount of players that go to the Lighthouse, they shouldn't require to go flawless.
A flawless 9-0 passage is almost impossible. In order to get such a passage, you must be lucky and not run into any complete 365's with thorn or lag switchers.

[b]Edit[/b]: You get nothing for going 9-1. What's the point of finishing your passage if you are 8-1?
[b]Edit 2[/b]: The most popular solution in this thread is to give players access to the Lighthouse whenever they go 9-1 or 9-2, but you will need a key to access the chest in the Lighthouse, which is only acquired by going flawless. This way players can explore the area and acquire the grimoire without the hassle of getting a 9-0 passage.

They should not touch Trials. They need to focus on stopping the cheating in Trials. You don't even technically have to win 9 matches. The first win counts as two, the other win counts as two. That's 4 wins right there. The mercy is for your next 5. It was meant to be a end game PVP reward activity. But the cheating has ruined that. As far as Trials, it should be kept as is. It will encourage players to improve in PVP. What discourages players is the cheating. But to answer your question, no one has to ever actually go 9 in a row flawless. You have boons.

You should be able to buy your way there with strange coins since us vets have hundreds just sitting around. Let it cost around 75 coins to go for a week.no chests just get to visit the lighthouse. It would give players that cant make it a chance to go there (remember no chests). It would also be destiny a first "big" purchase from xur something players could work towards.

I think the chest should be only for flawless runs but if you go 9-1 or 9-2 you should be able to go to the lighthouse because it's a pretty cool place to walk around

You should be able to access the lighthouse at 9 wins regardless but keep the chest for people who go 9-0. Only fair options IMO.

People who cant go flawless should be able to travel to the lighthouse and run all the way up to the chest then BOOM invisible wall where all the flawless players can run through and dance on the other side while collecting that l33t loot

No. I've never been to the lighthouse. I won't ever be there because i am not that good at pvp. The lighthouse should be a reward for the pvp elite.

I think I could agree with the whole exploring the area, why not just move Brother Vance there and just have the chest as stated "requiring the 9-0 key"

I've never gone 9-0, and I still think if you can make it (without being a cheating prick) you deserve it. There should be a poopy version of the lighthouse for those of us who go 0-4 every week.

Also for that joker meme it's because skolas is broken and everyone knows it. In trials the only broken mechanics is the weapon balancing and lag and they are addressing and fixing at least half of the problem.

Think about, people cheat/ hack for the FREAKIN LIGHTHOUSE!!!! If everyone has some kind of chance, then there won't be no incentive to hack. ( people would still hack, but who knows maybe this could be solution to our problems)

Only 10% of the player base? No... I guarantee that by now more people have been carried there than have gotten themselves there. So many times I've seen 3 emblems face me and they suck. Week after week.

Once again the problem is not trials it's the prison. Skolas needs to guarantee elemental drops with the chance for elder cipher. As it is right now the cipher drops more often than the legendaries. That doesn't make sense to me. On another note I would like 2 players to help with getting my flawless. I just want to get it once just to say I did it and be done with this game until ttk. I know with the right people I can get it done. I don't need any carrying but I can't carry others, I don't snort a line before playing like the twitch streamers do. I'm on xbox one.

I pulled and all nighter playing with a group I met on the forums this week. I'm pretty bad at trials but they were a fun group so we just played and close to the end of the night we went 9-0 and it felt amazing. We had some close games but that was the biggest rush destiny has given me.
