Now that's a great Idea! but when you start to get repeats every week then its gets a little annoying

Well, Xûr is kind of known for his repeats. And it's not like engram drops don't repeat. But with Xûr being RNG-based for each player he could offer (1) armor or weapon, (2) one engram of unknown type, and (3) shards. The selection will be per account and not per character.
