The real veterans of Destiny will be rocking one of three Bungie themed logos.
These are the community members who have been here since Halo, and participated in these forums enough to earn them.
I have the Heroic Emblem on my Titan for reaching Exalted Heroic member status on old b.net (now immortalized as Halo.Bungie.net,) and there are even more rare Legendary and Mythic versions.
Anyone with these emblems are the true Seventh Column vets.
All of you Alpha and Beta players need not contest us.
That is all.

This is destiny.[/quote]
It's a community logo, meaning those who have it have been on these forums for longer than anyone else. It has nothing to do with Halo, other than the era the ranks came from. It's in Destiny, so it's relevant.
Edit: Also these emblems are an Xbox exclusive. They aren't even timed. Sorry playstation.. lol

1 ReplyYou are obviously into old men.

1 ReplyVeteran fvckin dickhead more like. You fvckin real-life softies are obsessed with this pseudo-veteran status. fvckin veteran of bungie-brainwashing into thinking you are some kind of 'vet'. Wake-tha-fvck-up! You are a veteran of jack shyt.
-
5 RepliesAwesome! Xbox only forever? Great. We will keep all future exclusives forever then :-) sounds fair?
-
Ill just rock my inner circle
-
Should have put a blue pic up.
-
Satire tag. I will start rocking my founders emblem when everyone is wearing the triumph one and it therefore becomes generic as fvck like the Crota one.
-
Yay you used the fourums before I did. Oops. *pulls hand out of bag* looks like I ran out of fûcks. None to give. :/
-
Are you a REAL veteran?
-
I have played halo since it was first released but i was too young to join bungie.net Idgaf if i have an emblem or not, i know that ive been there since day one of halo and thats all that matters to me.

7 RepliesHow does playing a different game make you a vet in another?
-
1 ReplyI like that you did stick with a company long enough. That's enough for me. Emblems just make it easier to distinguish.
-
-
1 ReplyI played all halos except the first but I just never went on forums till destiny
-
The logo represents exactly what u say from being a long term community member through games from start like halo , now when it comes to destiny and actual commitment and the word vet all comes down to profile stats . Any casual like yourself can have a level 1 character and carry this symbol gained from a forum . So u are a vet to the bungie community NOT destiny based on the character stats that u have . Casual at best when it comes to destiny . Hard to swallow but being a long term "bungie community member" does not automatically make u a veteran at the said"game" destiny. Sorry bro nice try.bahahahah

Good old halo days. Had one vs one, so much fun.

I have only been with. Bungie since 2010.

I've been on the forums since Halo 3, unfortunately though I was the silent type... Just read and moved on.

Then why don't I have it? 8 years with Bng, have been linked since H2
-
