If you insist on taking the heavy ammo before the rest of available teammates make it there I will continue to stand in front of you blocking your view until we both die. If you don't care about winning than neither do I. If the teams way out of range and there's enemies approaching by all means. But if you take it while most of your teammates are on their way you've been warned. #damnidiots
Edit: it's become painfully obvious that most of you either can't read or are just plain stupid and selfish. Above I clearly state that if there's a threat by all means go for it. To do otherwise is a detriment to the team. And iron banner isn't vanilla crucible.
Edit2: No wonder the raid percentage is so low! Most of you are dumber than a box of rocks.
Edit3: glad to see this morning the numbers are coming my way. There are smart people that play destiny?! Yay. I can tell by these posts who's completed a raid and who hasn't.

5 RepliesIf your at the heavy ammo on time all well and good, but why should people risk not getting any while waiting for you to knick some easy kills at the other spawn. If i see you are close ill wait if not be there on time.

Problem that I find is that people don't prepare for heavy, I always try to take a defensive position near the pickup when it is called... Just in case the enemy had intentions of trying to wipe the team just as heavy drops. Sometimes I miss it because I am 1-5m out of range dealing with such enemies. It pisses me off, that I am doing the work so they don't get killed huddled up, and they pick as I'm running back and just miss it... But at least they have it, and can help us win. Some maps I push to a sniper point as the enemy is going to grab and start picking them off just as it is about to drop...

Edited by IRON RUMBLER: 6/8/2015 11:46:43 PMI'm always late at getting to the ammo on certain maps since I"m usually covering a point where I know someone could possible snipe or run in unexpectedly and screw us over . I honestly think people panic or just want to get the first kill with their heavy which could be a reason why this happens also.
-
I always wait...it's worth it and your teammates are relieved and happy...why not? Why do people insist on being jerks?
-
I try to save my super for heavy spawn and steal the other teams other than that I wait.
-
Hey if your better at the gun game, with your team, and you don't get heavy but your team risk a death to prevent the opposing team from getting any heavy at all would you still be the loser to cause your team to lose
-
1 ReplyIf I see my team all rushing one heavy, I usually rush the other just to limit how many of the other team come away with it. You'd be surprised how many ignore the red on the radar trying to pick heavy up
-
2 RepliesWhat if I'm the only one there and people form the other team are rushing it? You'd better believe I'll take it on my own to deny the other team heavy ammo.
-
2 RepliesI do what I want!

3 RepliesI do hate it when ppl get heavy by themselves. If I see blue dots coming towards me I will wait. At the same time if I see any red on my radar I'm grabbing it. Didn't they add time? u should have more than enough time to get the heavy. If you died that's your fault for trying to be Rambo , sorry bro u missed out. When u die and then spawn check the timer, I'm not going to get nova bombed waiting for u skrubs to get heavy. There is no excuse. For u ppl who say heavy doesnt matter , your wrong heavy kills are worth more than regular kills, heavy can bring your team back or seal the deal.
-
I'm going to start doing that. It makes me so mad when I spawn in, run in towards the heavy and then get none. Very aggravating.
-
Red on HUD I grab it Done this a few times just in time to kill the enemy intent on wiping us out. Anyway you know the times get near ready. But quite often I sit there and wait and noone comes. When Titaning though he came first as I relied a lot on heavy kills in IB
-
2 RepliesQuit being a dick, dude.

There really isn't a right answer here. I'm sure there are SOME people who just don't care and grab it anyway, but I'm betting most aren't intentionally trying to be rude. They either are in the heat of the moment and forget or freak out and are worried they're going to be killed before they can grab it. I think intentionally trying to jump in front of them is worse either way. Either they're innocent and you're punishing someone who doesn't deserve it, or they aren't and you're proving yourself to be just as low as they are.

1 ReplyIt announces 15 seconds ahead of time. You can run straight across almost any map in 15 seconds. If you don't pay attention to the warning that's your fault. I'm not huddling around a purple campfire with my entire team waiting for you lolly gagging ass to get over there so and enemy can whip a grenade across the map or nova bomb/havoc all of us. If you're that far away that you can't make it you're probably closer to theirs so be a good teammate and try to stop them from getting it since you're such a hardass about winning lol.
-
3 RepliesEven worse than pulling heavy without your team..... Dying right after you've pulled it without getting a kill. Against a team with any notable skill, that type of fail results in a lost match.
-
5 RepliesDear mr douche it may be because they didnt see you or enemies are coming:)
-
Agreed. I hate those guys
-
I agree %100. Especially in vanilla crucible more then iron banner though
-
The only time I take heavy when teammates aren't near is if I am stealing the enemies's or if there are several red blips moving towards me.
-
When I play banner/crucible I will try and protect the heavy for my team, so that at least 3 of my team can get it that way it gives us some step up on the other. I don't do PvP much and only really do it during iron banner but when I am there I will do everything I can for the team, supporting with cover fire, protect the heavy and capping the control points. That is what I feel everyone should do during banner but hey everyone plays there own style. I do agree with op though, protect the heavy for the team, a full team with rockets is better then a lone wolf with his/her own rockets.

Rofl my ass off cuz I do the same shit! I hate when they grab it for themselves with no enemies around. How can we win when the other team has all rockets and lmgs and one guy on the other team takes it and dies right away. Then we lose the lead. Dafuq

I find people that get heavy without u r...rude, I mean do they think they can carry the entire team? That's like going into crota and thinking u won it for the team. U didn't ( unless u one maned it ) but u can't one man crucible. Just be patient, kind, and considerate to other gamers, it makes for a better community
but those that do it deserve to be thrown into a dungeon FOR LIFE
I've had teams where I'm literally 1-2 seconds away, no enemies in sight and they take it.
-
I wait for my team unless there's an enemy on the radar is that ok?
