BladeDancer and Mask of the 3rd Man
How come when I use my Hungering blade perk paired with my mask of the 3rd man, my super energy wont replenish? and the exotic perk will allow me to replenish my super energy, but it doesnt. Is this a bug or is that just how it is?

1 ReplyThe perk allows you to use LESS super energy in each attack, you're thinking of the encore perk

Edited by Hopeinmo: 5/6/2015 7:03:55 PMWell I did some testing on this, and I got these results Encore gives back some energy with each kill Mask of the third man reduces energy used when pressing melee button (not sure which energy part) Now, how energy is used When you do a normal arcblade attack, some energy us used up just for the action and some more energy gets used if you actually make contact with an enemy. Mask of the third man, from what I see, does not affect secondary arcblade abilities, while encore can. (if you kill multiple enemies with one of the 2 arcblade damaging abilities, you can replenish more energy than you use up.) (edit: Hungering blade btw, heals you, it does not replenish energy, Encore, replenishes energy)

1 ReplyI believe it just prolongs the duration of blade dancer... I could be wrong. I've used it and didn't really notice a difference.

Encore class perk extends arc blade upon each kill, mask of the third man simply reduces the amount of super energy required for an attack. If you want a long lasting arc blade, that combo works well if you can get the kills
