Best Average Exotic?
EDIT: By average, I mean outclassed by at least ONE other exotic and legendary in their classtype. Example: P&T is outclassed by Ice Breaker and Efirdeet's Spear w/ Final Round, and Truth is outclassed by Gjallarhorn and Hunger of Crota. While these exotics may be more than average, there is no reason to use any of them, as they have better Legendary and Exotic variants. That's what is meant by average.
Simple poll, bunch of average underrated exotics, vote for which you think is the better one.
Pocket Infinity - Amazing in PvP, makes light work of big waves of mobs in PvE. Full auto beast.
Truth - Pure high damage rocket, great against single targets. Easily one of the best REs in PvP.
Super Good Advice - 23% of the time during Atheon, an average team wipes due to Oracles. 77% of the time, if you miss a bullet with SGA, it will return to your magasine. Add 23% and 77%, and you get 100%. 100% success rate against oracles.
Patience and Time - Almost no recoil. Incredible impact. Invisibility. The ideal sniper rifle for a precise marksman. Enemies in PvP will not be able to dodge you simply because they won't see you.
Hard Light - Although this auto rifle is in the "high ROF POS Auto Rifles" category, it is easily one of the better ARs in the game. Managable recoil with a high ROF, this weapon is quality at staggering big waves of enemies.
Invective - One of two exotic shotguns that can be fitted into the Special Weapons slot, Invective is a beast of a shotgun. While the Special Ammo nerf has been a negative thing for special weapons, Invective rather prefers it, as it will definitely see its user count go up now due to its regenerating ammo. Hits like a truck in PvE as well. The Felwinter's Lie of exotic shotguns. And it looks incredibly sexy.
Plan C - Plan A: Vex Mythoclast. Nerfed and low attack damage. Plan B: Pocket Infinity. High recoil and small clip size. This is what Plan C is here for. The most all-rounded fusion rifle. While its stats are not amazing, they are neither bad. The perfect fusion for a new user.

Edited by Afawafa: 4/19/2015 3:50:33 PMPnT deals the most dps among snipers by quite a decent margin though. Also, it's probably a better pvp sniper than PR as it has very high aim assist that makes crit hitboxes really large despite having slightly lower RoF.

I was using SGA on oracles at templar on hard and it killed them in like 2-3 seconds

Wouldnt consider the patience an average gun. Suros is more of average, plan c etc. But theyre horrible. Maybe red death or bad juju

SGA is only good at oracles. And if you have praetorian foil, you don't need it. Truth is deceptively good. It just lives on gjallarhorns shadow. It's certainly incredible for pvp though. You literally can not miss with it.

The Invective is actually my most used exotic in strikes simply for the ammo re-gen, range and stability. I have one for each character, its awesome. And it's great in VoG too.
