Tell him to put on subtitles. It'll tell him when she screams. No excuses now lol

Doesn't help. Subtitles in Destiny aren't SDH, they only show up with actual conversations, not with every sound effect. I'd like to see "[Omnigul screams]" or "[Stealth Vandal vanishes]" on my screen but I guess that'll never happen.

He has them on, I wonder why he never noticed

Because having subs on doesn't tell you when she screams, unfortunately. I know this because I'm one of those weirdos that prefer to read things as well as hear it, so I turn subs on in every game I play.

Edited by DragoonKai: 3/5/2015 6:13:40 AMSame here. It only tells you she screams when you encounter it and Its followed by Eris' yacking. But it won't point out when it screams during the battle; guess hat would be distracting. As a rule of thumb, though, tell your friend to attack it until: -You run away (if you're within sight) -When she starts waving her arms and wiggling all around - After attacking her nonstop for 30 seconds -When stuff spawns (the map just fills up with red marks) I have to play on mute late at night because I don't like to wake up my roommate. I have these guidelines and rules I follow every time I play and I have no sound. So that's what I do.
