Okay so while raiding with my guys someone said that upon completion of the raid, if you wait like five minutes for the summary screen there is a chance you will be awarded an exotic that you wouldn't get if you exit to orbit yourself. Any truth in this?

Yes it's true my did it like An hour ago and two of us got exotics so it is true
-
No. The reason they think this is because they don't see the list of obtained items when you beat crota because it scrolls up too fast.

1 ReplyIf you did get some yellow action, it will come to you no matter what. After his large hive posterior hits the floor and purple comes, you can leave.

1 ReplyThat's a load of shit.

1 ReplyFalse. This rumor started when the exotics started popping up once you went to orbit. Kids believe anything these days. (Not you, the ones that spread the rumor)

1 ReplyOk to put this to rest again!!!! Yes there is a rewards screen but since you completed the task of killing (Crota or atheon whichever) you can just go to orbit and you will get your weapons there on the right side. Like if you leave a strike as soon as it's says its completed. Your shit pops up on the side

Edited by Angel_Soren: 2/11/2015 11:08:52 PMI don't believe it to be true. I've run Crota's End many times and have waited all the way to see if Exotics would pop out. From my own experience, it will only show exotics that were given after defeating Crota. Also for some reason, if you don't have enough space for the exotic you receive, you don't see it in your reward feed. This has happened to my Hardlight and Icebreaker after beating Crota, however, it still showed up at the post masters. Basically, I think the whole being rewarded an exotic if you wait out the end result is a combination of people not realizing what they got as well as people not seeing the feed due to their inventory being full.

1 ReplyEdited by DjNormal: 2/11/2015 11:01:16 PMTried it a week ago, people got exotics who didn't get any in the log the we saw (the two who did had already left). Tried it this week, the people who had gotten them in the log were the only ones that got them after getting sent back to orbit. I'm pretty sure the log is just going by really fast and people didn't notice the loot being listed and then got goodies once they went to orbit. Always check your postmaster after raids too. I've had things show up there even if my inventory wasn't full. Same for Roc strikes (either that or Bungie said screw it, this guy needs a Hawkmoon and a Monte Carlo - he uses scout rifles too much). *mixed feelings*

2 RepliesEdited by AlmightyCathulu: 2/11/2015 10:58:10 PMYou don't need to wait 5 minutes. You can finish and go straight to orbit
