Now that I've got Nechrochasm... why is this gun an exotic? *EDIT2* House Of Wolves Raid Exotic Final Form pic!!
Honestly though, there is nothing special about it... nothing. You're wasting an exotic slot on a mediocre auto rifle, all you get it is a few firefly-ish explosions with an surprisingly unimpressive blast radius.
Just wanted to let you know you're not missing much, sadly. Hopefully you can try it out yourself and form your own opinion, but as I know my fellow Guardians, most of you just want it for collection purposes.
[b]Needs a buff ASAP[/b], 1 or 2 abilities that makes it somehow worth using. Vex is so much better than this, it looks and feels like a "one of a kind" gun. Man, what are we getting in House of Wolves? An exotic Cucumber Stick? #GoodGodBungie

[u][b]Edit 2, (MUST READ)[/b][/u] once again, the point of posting this is not to compare the weapons TO EACH OTHER. it's about comparing the weapons to those of their time. we all know DLC weapons have more attack than non-DLC weapons. but the point is that the VoC, for example, WAS THE BEST SCOUT RIFLE FOR ITS TIME (i.e, PRE-DLC). currently, the fang of ir yut IS NOT THE BEST SCOUT RIFLE IN THE GAME. the same is true of every other weapon except for the black hammer (and even then, its pve only), hunger of crota (another pve wep), and that's it. end of story. these weapons cannot be compared to pre-dlc VoG weapons, which were almost all of the most dominant weapons in the game at that time, for both pve and even in pvp.

I read your review right before using my crux (bored in loading screen) on my ally, and thought we simply thought (perhaps it was more hope) that you would be wrong. But alas, I can make no excuses for this poor excuse of a weapon, much less an exotic. If it was legendary I still wouldn't use it, it absolute trash.

Verdict: Good to know that VoG-Weapons are not "obsolete", as i have been reading multiple times here. I like the idea of diversification in my arsenal.
