Alright, sell me Destiny folks
Game comes out in 6 days here. I'm debating on whether or not I should get it. I've heard some really doubtful things on it though.
-Level cap of 20, so you can pay more money for more levels down the road
-One area per planet (about 6 areas then)
-Usual "fetch, kill, collect" quests, except double this time and faction only rewards
-Poor selection of guns. Little to no SCI-FI weapons. Not many of them are fun to use
-Poor customization options -No chat, no trade, no sense of community
-Lots of loading screens
-You have a spaceship. But no flights or fights, so it's just a cosmetic
-Only one raid. More planned, but you'll have to probably pay
-Map design is linear (lots of corridors)
-Monster variety is poor from what I've seen.

Instead of being a nit-picky little baby, realize that OMG ITS JUST A 60 DOLLAR VIDEO GAME WHERE U RUN AROUND WITH UR FRIENDS AND SHOOT ALIENz. If you wanna have a lil fun and play this fun game, DO IT. If you wanna read more into buying a game than some people do why buying a car then idk have fun over-complicating things. Focus on what it DOES have, not what it DOESNT

Pretty much all the guns shoot bullets so if that's what you mean by no sci fi weapons, he's right. There will be no "pay to increase level cap" dlc. You will be given the option to buy expansion packs down the road, which will include raids. The monster variety was limited in the beta because it was the beta. Ultimately if you don't think it looks awesome based on gameplay footage of the beta and the widely positive feedback it has been receiving from critics, save your money and get something else.

Hey got to be lame if your getting opinions about a game in facebook instead of site about games or looking it up on youtube just saying like asking your wife where you want that heavy -blam!-ing tv at just saying if you need someone to sell you the game stay with facebook not to be ass about it

I say wait until it comes out, see how it does, and then go from there. If you're still not into it, fine. With respect, it won't be any skin off our backs.

It's fine if people have reservations i get that but there is always a grey area pre-launch it would seem that every thing we are not positive on the OP spun it into a negative ( er..... i mean his friend did). Spaceship being only cosmetic ...good.......i came for a open world FPS ( anybody want a ton of development time spent on NOT FPS ? ) besides there are ground vehicles that can shoot i mean hello this is bungie. Lot's of corridors ya pretty common in shooters going back to hmm doom. If everywhere you went anybody could talk .....that could kill a game....every game i have played where you could talk everywhere you go it was non-stop trolling ( and not the funny kind ) vs. the supposed trade off 'community' unless your friends with someone or in a clan community is a myth, in your typical MMO 99% of people around you are total strangers.

Just one more person to cry on the forums about the state of the game. Also if you're friend is that big of an @$$ hat as to tell you about a game he hasn't fully played then I would disregard everything he says as miss information.

Wow, just wow. Ok so far a few things are true like the no trading. But that's good cause it means WORK FOR YOU FRAKING GEAR (NOBS)!!! But erything else is just the dumbest downplayed description. I will not try to sell you Destiny. You know what Ido when I'm interest in a game? Extensive research by myself. I don't mean to cone off as rude but if your friend thinks the cap is 20 then you've got a lot of gaps to fill in.

In your case it may actually be best to wait until the game has been out for a bit and everyone knows what it's all about. The devil is in the details and a beta doesn't mirror an end product. Let it ride, see what the game is really about after release and just maybe we will see you starside.

What your *friend* told you was half right,(lol MoreConsole reference), look for the info yourself.

Biggest game of 2014, maybe even 2015. Participate or spectate , or ignore it altogether. Whichever you prefer.
