Hello there, Thank you for reaching out. On Xbox, try these steps Hard power-cycle & clear cache Hold the Xbox power button for 10 seconds until it fully shuts down. Unplug the power cable for 30 seconds, then plug back in and turn it on. On the console: Go to Settings → General → Network settings → Advanced settings → Alternate MAC address → Clear → Restart. Then Settings → Devices & connections → Blu-ray → Persistent storage → Clear. Test another profile On the same Series S, sign in with a different Xbox account and try launching Destiny 1. If only your main profile hangs at sign-in but another profile works, that strongly suggests account/save corruption, which matches what we’ve seen before with D1 freezing at character select on Xbox. In that case: Remove your profile (Settings → Account → Remove accounts), restart the console, then add it back and try again. Reinstall to internal storage only Make sure Destiny 1 (and all DLC) are installed on the internal SSD, not an external drive. Delete Destiny 1, restart the console, then reinstall to internal storage and launch before installing any other older titles. Network check Prefer wired over Wi-Fi if possible. Reboot your modem/router. On Xbox Network settings, check that: NAT is Open or Moderate (Strict can cause Destiny sign-in issues). If you use a VPN, custom DNS, or very strict router firewall, disable those temporarily and retest.
