Since the portal arrived in Destiny 2 after the release of Edge of Fate, I've seen a lot of hate about it, its farming mechanics, and the increased difficulty when you reach a certain Light level. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with that. Look, since people started asking for the portal to be removed and everything to go back to the way it was, I think it's silly, in my opinion. Don't like the portal? That's fine. Don't like the difficulty? That's fine. Besides, the portal is a way for new players to play and enjoy paid activities. Not everyone is a PC gamer or has the money for high-end computers. I only made this post to give my opinion.

Well, for one, you’re not even at max power to truly experience the “beauty” of the portal. Two, portal sucks. It sucked the life out of the game. Yeah it’s cool it’s one consolidated area to quickly do an activity, but it also made the rest of the game (the director) basically useless since it’s not in the tiered system either.

Honest request... When you reach 550, come back & let us know how much you love doing every single portal activity on Ultimate mode with 1 single revive token, hordes of champions, and a timer over your head

1 RispondiI agree. The portal isn't the problem. The problem was they launched it without bringing the rest of game into the tier system. It stripped the game of anything else to do because the rewards were pathetic. It's taken them a year to sort exotics. The portal is good for what it was supposed to be for.

At last someone I can agree with! The ability to customise what you do as you power up was fantastic as I could tailor them to how I wanted to run an activity.
