Yes. I always thought it'd be cool of there was a massive public event indicator on the bottom of the screen in which one or fireteam leader could start up for a massive battle somewhere. There would be a placeholder to go back to whatever activity you were in. If they can't do that then it would make sense to have it for the public areas making them more viable.
