Edge of fate has the worst campaign i’ve ever played in a fps ever
This campaign is pathetic trash. I’ve died more times looking for the holes of the stupid matterspark mechanic. Am i supposed to watch a guide for everything in this game?
Not to mention i spend 1/10 of the time in boss fights actually damaging the boss than I do doing the matterspark.

Online gaming ended awesome campaigns. It’s just the way it is. There are lots of positives for sure but it can never be the same as the days when 90% of a game was a campaign. Things change. I’m 60 and I still find some fun in gaming but it’s hard to recreate the times when I played Tekken for the first time or my all time favourite Mech Warrior 2 on my first PC. “Enemy mech detected”.

I didn't like it either, not because of difficulty, but because of how forgettable it is. The story was great, but I don't even remember the missions and it's only been a week.

6 RisposteI played the first mission, it’s free and I wanted to try it for myself. I thought it was terrible and I’m not interested in playing through the rest of the campaign. Not even when it’s inevitably given away through PS+. I find Matterspark to be absolutely terrible.

I personally think it's okay I just think that mystic needs a balanced patch this is based on my experience after I completed mystic. Frankly I don't understand why people are upset about matters spark when it's not even a subclass it's just a tool used to solve puzzles... When players had early access that is what literally was explained that matter spark was not going to be used as a sub class it was going to be used as a tool to explore kepler and to solve puzzles...

2 RisposteI had some trouble at first, but then your brain gets used to the lateral thinking. I promise you that no, you won't have to look up a guide for all of the puzzles; some of them, probably, but you'll learn the developer's tricks pretty quickly. You're experiencing learning pains; the puzzles get less painful with time, some of the more complex ones were even pretty fun, though the low level stuff is tedious, yeah. Hang in there. Or don't. You're under no obligation to keep playing, I'm just saying that an hour of play-time from now the puzzles won't seem nearly so frustrating.

My problem is that the puzzles destroy any momentum when playing missions. There seems to be more puzzling than shooting at times, and while I appreciate the attempt to mix up the game play, I find it rather jarring.
