I just want to say that the crossbow is a brilliant idea and I'm genuinely excited to use it when Edge of Fate comes out.
I've always been a fan of uncommon loadouts: No Bullets - Bows, Glaives, Swords. Now with Legendary Crossbows I will have another heavy option besides Winter Bite, Leviathan, or Swords.
I hope y'all keep adding weapons that aren't guns. As much as I love my Ager's, Barrow Dyad, and Malfeasance. It's fun to take a break from those and change it up.
I look forward to seeing whatever the first Exotic Crossbow will be someday. Hopefully something Tex Machina themed.

2 RisposteHopefully bows get a buff, they feel horrible, especially in pvp. Le monarque is a shadow of what it used to be. Other bows feel even worse. We don’t need a new bow archetype, we beed buffs on the current ones. Faster charge and fire rate would go a long way.

1 RispondiA Tex Mechanica exotic would also be cool, but Wookiee is my bet for the first exotic crossbow. I'm about 90% sure they made a Wookiee Bowcaster for Renegades, and brought a legendary version forward to Edge of Fate to have it balanced for release.

Yeah it looks super cool. Retrieving the arrow is a nice touch. I can’t wait to get my hands on the rocket assisted pulse though. They’ve done a great job of adding new weapons.

When a new release game with the same IP adds duel welding before a company that created it and lasted for 10years going on 11 did, if anything they need to stop playing Diablo and actually play more hero,looter shooters and fps games. I'm more surprised they are doing a crossbow than actually making legendary heavy shotguns and snipers first

I'll give a go to see what it's like, Although I'll just use it when in patrol but don't really care about the whole retrieve the bolt and fire it again idea(not that you have to retrieve it if you don't want to). I like the idea of a crossbow(or any new weapon type) in Destiny but would've been better if it was a rapid fire one like in the Hugh Jackman movie Van Helsing🙂.

There isn't much I'm looking forward to, TBH (although most of the things I hate are the free systems changes), but I am legitimately looking forward to this crossbow (and the other new Legendary longbow frame as well).
