Have you tried saying offensive things on the internet so you can get famous, ride the gravy train, and then people can dig them up like 10 years later?

4 RisposteSorry for my rambling I love music....what kind of music do you write?your preferred genre?

1 RispondiDon't be too hard on yourself there is a finite range of cords and melodies that will make sense or sound good to your ears and with the massive amount of music out there many arrangements will sound similar and it's understandably aggravating....try not to over think..grab a pencil a pen and a paint brush and go tap on things around your home turn off your TV radio and computer Listen to the ambience of the world around you...little inspirations will go a long way

Sounds like you're on your way to me.

Skill issue.
I find it easier to write stuff when it randomly comes to me, rather than sitting down and actively trying to write something.
2 RisposteWrite from deep in your feels. I think your band is metal if I remember right. I like metal bc it takes such strong instrumentals and puts lyrics with real feeling so they amplify each other. I know that’s cheesy but now you have my thoughts :p

5 RisposteModificato da Dave.: 3/17/2025 12:23:10 AMJust pull a carti. Make fire beats and write a few nice lyrics and release it. But music can be like painting. You only get famous after your dead

And when someone writes something truely great it's not appreciated by the masses. How John Mayer's version of Gravity from Where the Light Is album has less than 39 million plays on Spotify I'll never understand. Meanwhile, Espresso just hit 2 billion plays. And sure, Spotify didnt really take off until the 2010's but that's still a good deal of years to break more than 39 mill.

Modificato da J. Robert Oppenheimer: 3/16/2025 10:38:52 PMYou know, the real secret to a successful music career...
is you don't actually need to be talented
Because if it wasn't we'd all be stars.
