Your first rule is conditional to the level of friendship.
If we're friends i'll use your tangles when needed, but if we're good friends i will go out of my way to use every single tangle available to make a beyblade, even if death is the ultimate result.

I only use tangles as a sort of tangle debt to anyone where I then have to let them have one of mine. It also depends on how synergistic their build is e.g. if someone's using swarmers on warlock, they can have my tangles

It's just a "rule" I've heard before in LFGs, so I used it as an example. It's not a rule I use actively in general. But now, like you, I shall make it a point to use every single tangle spawned from my friends. This is the way.
