What Bungie needs to do is take a step back actually think about the sandbox… and rework the ways they built the subclasses for EVERY class… to reduce/take away the overlaps. Void is a great place for an example… Hunters are the rogues… weaken and invis. Sneaking around, weakening targets, marking crits (tether) They are the best at this so their weaken and invis is better than whenever a Titan or Warlock but they have a hard time using volatile, overshield (opposite of invis btw), devour and suppress. Warlocks are the mages… devour and suppress. Life stealing and ability uptimes, keeping enemies from using abilities. High damage Nova Bomb. Feed the Void already does this somewhat but their suppress last significantly longer. Invis, weaken overshield and volatile are less useful. Titans are the fighters… overshields and volatile. Protection from damage and buffing weapons/healing to stay upfront and control the fight. Bubble (with Weapons of Light). Invis is useless, weaken and volatile are similar but just work opposite, devour and suppress aren’t needed because the abilities are about protecting/buffing the team. Can you see how Bungie has just farmed out Titans role to the other classes with Gyrfalcons, destabilizing rounds, repulsor brace, etc? This is just one example.
