If you want to enjoy Final Shape keep your expectations as low as possible
After Lightfall, boring seasons, STOG and Joe`s damage control video I know that Bungie can`t deliver a good expansion. They don`t want to, they`re tired of destiny success and they hate FORSAKEN DLC, coz every piece of crap they roll out will be compared to that godlike DLC. No overdelivery for homeboys, here`s 1 set of armor, 6 boring story mission and a MOTHERLOAD of evervese store items, coz that`s the endgame. Make you buy into their lies and buy some more.

They haven't been able to put out a decent expansion since Forsaken, and even then most know it was High Moon and Vicarious Vision that carried them.

2 RisposteI expect Shadowkeep content, but with Lightfall's boringness and lack of an interesting story. I also expect increased lag, increased maintenance due to game crashes and failures at tuesday reset, broken overly-spaghettified programming, lack of Bungie actually doing anything about fixing things. I don't expect quality, a good story, ritual armors, weapon buffs, or any promises to improve something whether in PVP or PVE.

Not sure mine can go any lower. Don't plan on buying it. Probably just watch a YouTube video of how they botch the story and be done with this franchise and company.

2 RisposteJust wait for the reviews this time. Don't jump at the pre-order bonus, when the hype train starts. Bungie's marketing team is really the businesses strongest component and you bet your -blam!-, they are going to do everything possible to hook you back in and get that pre-order locked. They aren't gonna run out of stock like it's 2003. Everyone will get in late because Bungie will need to throttle the servers and make a queue. Your not gonna miss anything. Just give it one extra day and see what people are saying.

1 RispondiI can't believe how many people seem to be hyped over the showcase teaser of all things. Guys, they showed nothing and cutscenes like that are just meant to build hype, they've never once made it into the actual game. Remember for Lightfall when we saw Cabal chasing us as we jumped out of a building? Or what about for Witch Queen where we saw the Hive Ghosts bringing Hive back with Guardian abilities?

8 RisposteI came back twice over the past three weeks or so only to help friends. Idc about their “reveal,” it’s going to look great fosure. But then we all know what it will be: 100 euros for: - 2/3h of campaign (including or not travels to towers, that is the question) - a day one raid where all the losers will be watching their imaginary boyfriends play day 1 hoping that they complete it fast so that they can pretend they themselves know the strats and could “easily” beat it, cause they’re better. - some trash 6 players recycled reskinned revamped refurnished activity to grind some weapons for casuals. - one (… or may be two!!) new trials weapons that will put immortal to rest. - a new cloak from IB or the raid that “everybody” will want bc the imaginary boyfriends got paid for their PR again. - a dungeon that will be ok. Then, within two weeks to two months: - nerfs nerfs nerfs nerfs nerfs. - this game is over, “thank you Bungie for 10y… but I’m out” - …. Until Aug 2024: game is dead… “No! Look we have some great content coming up for 2025” and the imaginary boyfriends who can’t make any money out of destiny: look guys destiny will never end, pay for my Tesla, Bungie will always match us with the worst players in the pool if you watch, comment, and subscribe to my channel for a rolling chance at my… free Carries ofc (because I do that to help others) BS… self fulfilling prohecies… sophism… euphemisms… pleonasm… conundrums… all vanish before Destiny 2 the fore-sequels.

Weird to me that you suggest lowering expectations to "enjoy" a far below mediocre game. How about maybe, just maybe not playing? and not paying? Weird thought i know... Are you that type of guy who still goes to mcdonalds and buys a big mac for almost 10 bucks nowadays meanwhile theres a 10/10 prime meat smash burger restaurant across the street offering you a high quality burger but you look away and keep eating the trash you are used to? I think you are.
