Bungie can't tell the difference between challenging and stupid
This company is so bad at making things challenging without going overboard. The tormenter in the exotic quest has about 10 billion health, wtf. How are you supposed to kill it?

1 RispondiHave one person use Divinty and have other players use thunderlord etc we 2 phased it, did it with 2 randoms off LFG. Why do the blueberrys always complain about these quests or Dungeons etc it's meant to be challenging so you get good at the game, use strategies and once you beat it it feels good.

It’s been weeks/months: hey don’t worry, there’s so much coming, we have this new EXOTIC MISSION soon. 2h of fishing, 300 fishes caught for what? This? Getting the exotic fish felt more exciting. Bungie’s bent on proving the world that they don’t give a S anymore. Can’t wait to see all the mysteries and action coming in future seasons. Duh!!

cataclysmic surge radiant debuff, hits for 200k. I think tormentors are fine as mini bosses like champions but dont really work as bosses becuase of the requirement for precision weapons

If everyone that’s saying how easy it is offered to pull a couple of players through then there wouldn’t be a problem.

They are not the best or the brightest at Bungie. They have proven that they cannot effectively support the game. I am moving away from the game playing other games that are better supported and managed.

The disconnect on Guardians here thinking even a quarter of the player base have done a single Garden run, much less the div questline. If most of you experienced Guardians need that crutch then obviously the general player base stands barely a chance.

Other than that, Div/hit your shots + any lmg/linear/leviathans breath/sniper… have you never dealt with a tormentor before my guy, he probably about as tanky as pit final boss guesstimating so easily 3 manable if you know what your doing and can aim in a general direction

Div will get nerfed vs Tormentors after this. You'll still get more damage than a body shot via bubble crits, but not as much as if you hit their actual weakpoints. Which it wont let you since the bubble is covering them.

This whole quest was implemented as an excuse to nerf Divinity again. This company is too easy to predict.

Did it second attempt with 3 mins to spare, retrofit and div, well and two hunter supers. Not really that bad once you know the maze layout

My team did it with two of us running Thunderlord and the third using Div, if you don't know anyone with Div then Tractor Cannon is a good alt. Whatever strat you use you definitely want at least one Thunderlord though cause the lightning strikes can stagger the Tormentor

2 RisposteGot it second try after doing it once with rondoms. Even the rondoms got it down to 1/2 health on what I'm guessing was shrines first try. Same story with all the other guys in the lfg. All hunters(staid void and stand) with no coordinated in loadouts, and we still killed it with about a minute left. You aren't shoehorned into a specific loadout, but if you want consistency or aren't on a level where you can make any loadout work you'll want to use something like divinity with machine guns or linears. I used lucky pants with malfeasance on account of all the taken. The timer isn't absurdly tight, and If they didn't have it people would play super passive and then complain it was too boring and easy.

What has happened to gamers?? I got it done after approx. 6 or 7 attempts. It involved learning from mistakes, trying different builds and load outs followed by that awesome feeling that I finally cracked it when I got it done. It's moments like that that made me fall in love with gaming in the first place.

Are you telling me you cant outperform a player doing every thing wrong and dead half the time? Sounds like a you issue. You have to be one of thoes ppl that cry'd saying neomuna world adds were to strong or ghosts of the deep needs a HP scalar. Pro tip primary weapons have no place in PvE any more unless they have some perk that leans into abilitys such as: voltshot, demo, puglist, ect. If your primary weapon does not do this use a trace rifle. Maybe the next pass Bungie does with primary weapon damage they will finally be viable, but they are still not their yet chief.

27 RisposteIt's absolutely insane. Just by watching streamers doing it with 10 seconds left tells all there is to know about it. What can casual players expect? This game has become unplayable for the majority of players, unless you're to the patrol and that's it.
