We all thought this was going to be the new GHorn, but it never got the proper damage or attention it deserves. There’s practically no distinction in Legendary Rocket Launchers as opposed to Exotic Rocket Launchers. Honestly most Legendary Rocket Launchers out perform exotics because of perks.
I really think Bungie fears a Rocket Launcher meta more than anything because they don’t want us to be able to sit in the back of the map and cause high burst damage from cover. People keep saying that WELL Gjallarhorn IS ABOUT TO COME BACK!? That doesn’t mean it’s going to be meta. I’m ok with it not living up to its past. It was definitely OP for it’s time. I don’t need Rocket Launchers to be OP or anything else for that matter. It would just be nice to use Rocket Launchers in the Nightfall again like the old days.

1 RispondiIt'll have its Season. Wait until Rockets get the Breach and Clear + Particle Deconstruction treatment
-
The problem with it is it’s designed for Ad clear but suffers from the heavy ammo economy - also the mindset around RL’s is primarily for boss dps so it’s saving up those hard to earn heavy ammo bricks till you encounter the boss then you let them have it… With eyes you really want to be using it on large numbers of ads tracking multiple targets… sadly the heavy ammo economy just doesn’t support that kind of use of a RL so the mechanics of the game don’t really allow it to work in the role bungie presumably had intended for it. Most loadouts have one kinetic primary for Ad clear, one special energy for champ/major clear and one heavy for boss clear. So how does this work as a heavy weapon if it’s designed to be used like a primary kinetic. Great concept sadly implementation let’s it down a bit. If trying to encourage Ad clear perhaps a perk or catalyst that based on the number of targets you take down at once it grants a heavy brick in return? Just a thought

The only place it works good is Gambit but IMO truth is better in gambit
-
Biggest let down was crossplay
-
1 RispondiPfffft please the biggest let down of D2 was the launch of D2 😉
-
72 RisposteActually eyes of tomorrow is quite good for it's purpose. It's purpose isn't boss damage. It's killing an entire room of targets very quickly.
-
2nd biggest. Lobby Balancing is by far the Biggest…
-
2 RisposteThe whole of D2 is a let down.....
-
2 RisposteHave you met Skyburners Oath? It’s catalyst literally does nothing.

You thought it would be the new gally, even though we all knew gally was coming back? Lmao?
-
10 RisposteSounds like I was right not to even bother chasing it. Who woulda thunk. Most exotics aren’t worth the effort. Oh sure some are good, a few are great. But as none of them are “needed”, I’m content not wasting my time for them.

It’s also pretty much being buffed in pvp with the December update, so it’ll be even better there.
-
3 RisposteFunny how they didn’t want to make it into another gjallerhorn, yet they are bringing it back gally 🤔. They should absolutely buff it
-
2 RisposteYeah I completely agree with this and idk why tf it got downvoted. This exotic has literally one use in the entire game and that’s invading in gambit. Everywhere else it’s worse than dogshit
-
1 RispondiWhat if they reworked it to be a full auto rocket launcher? Forget the whole multiple tracking rockets crap Wardcliff Coil and Gjallarhorn already take care of that, I’m talking about a rocket launcher that works like pocket infinity, each round in the magazine shoots 3-5 rockets that do 200 damage each in the crucible and decent boss damage in PvE
-
2 RisposteI ironically stated “I bet I’ll get Gjallarhorn before Eyes.” Little did I know…I’d be right lol I hear Eyes is good in Gambit.
-
"Eyes of tommorow is the biggest disappointment since my son"
-
People hyped eyes before they even had it gun has a damage eduction to bosses because they didn’t want ghorn 3.o and must have eyes posts
-
At least it’s good in gambit lol
-
We all thought this was going to be the new GHorn
Uh... not really?
-
4 RisposteHawk moon in d2 is better than it ever was in d1
-
4 RisposteThe new ritual RL is really good, give it a try
-
3 RisposteThere will be an RL meta artifact mod you watch. Probably next season to push buying the G Horn pack and BL.
-
It's OP in Gambit. All exotics are not supposed to suit all play styles.
-
5 RisposteIt was nerf'd "by mistake" bungie claimed. On further testing they decided they liked where the nerf left it and it stayed their, this was about half a year ago. Was a big stink in the community for a long moment.
