Heres a list of things I had once mentioned throught the forums.
1. PvP shouldn't be loot based. Players prove that if theres nothing to chase, they dont feel replayability is a thing. We need to go back to what FPSs were all about...shooting each other in the face. Im saying run and gun arenas. Even makeshift arenas. Players can find weapons/ buffs on the floor to use and fight.
Secret passageways are fun too!
2. Allow private matches to have custom rules that can tweak stats, health, vehicles, gear restrictions and more. Allow players to come up with these custom rules and allow them to send it to Devs as feedback to be considered for regular play. Empower the players to come up with these ideas and you will be able to truly focus on what the community wants.
For example, custom rules could yield:
Gun game
Paintball
Capture the flag
Laser tag
X weapon type only
Vehicles
Just fisticuffs in middle
Space jumps + stick to walls
Perk prizes for kills - like 50 kills and rasputin nukes the board
Collect resources around the arena and slap it in a machine to spawn an ogre/machine to zap foes
3. Implement that bungie bounty thing more. Stop using it to bring attention to content creators. Mark the dude in first place who has held it for a considerable amount of time and reward the kill with resources or something. It can be a passive bounty that pops up too so you dont have to pick it up.
4. Maaaaaps
You should definitely have a makeshift one that will change throughout the duration of the match. I don't think you need to make a new one each season per say. I think however you'll get a lot of mileage from a Map that changes itself at random.
5. A firing range.
I mean...come on...this is a no brainer. Give me a olace i can queue up with buds or hop in myself and check my weapons. Let me get a classic paper target to shoot, holograms of enemies at top stats, bosses, etc. Let me see your weapons manufacturers sponsered around the area ( get a little lore in there ).
6. This one is a personal peeve of mine. You need to tell the community the many things to consider when playing PVP.
Although having a freelance option is quieting a lot of the people who don't understand that this is a multiplayer game, this is a multiplayer game. Communication is key and you need to have it with the people you play with. Other things to look at are builds, map awareness, weapon loadouts etc. These are necessary to understand in order to improve as a player.
This is all i can think of for now. Feel free to add to this.
Disclaimer: I'm not going to argue my points. The point of this thread is to put suggestions in a nice neat thread for them to read rather than having a dumpster fire of a topic. I'll add to the list however if anyone has anything constructive to add for bungie to take into consideration.

3 RisposteSmaller hitboxes so there’s a skill gap…

13 RisposteThese are all awesome ideas, however, you’re missing one thing. This isn’t a PvP game. It’s a mainly PvE game with PvP as an add on. While I do agree that bungie needs some more maps and some tweaks on how the PvP system works, there doesn’t need to be all these big changes. Some of the things you suggested could be in smaller updates, but this isn’t and shouldn’t be the focus of the developers. This is game is much more for PvE than it is for PvP

1 RispondiI just want a 6v6 mode where the quality of movement and shot registration is paramount. But it would also be challenging instead of just having people try to score as much as possible with no real strategy involved.

I guess that needs the crucible only primary ammo and reduce the special ammo for the combat last longer

Good ideas
