Tell me bungie how a player with 4 wins with a 0.30kd is getting paired with me and my teammate who are on 15 wins with a 1.1kd and 1.27kd…..no wonder we can’t get the lighthouse because we keep getting paired with poor players….we don’t want trials to be easy it should be a challenge but at least get the basics right

2 RisposteModificato da mayo68: 11/4/2021 10:23:21 AMBungo needs to make up its mind what it wants trials to be and stick to it. Personally I think the more players the better for future growth, call me crazy. This requires entry level game modes like freelance with proper MMing that seems to work just fine in the glory playlist. Move that model into freelance and we good!👍🏼 This is where you could meet future teammates with similar skill set, call me crazy. Teamplay should be sweaty you bunch of pansies! (Old school rant incoming) Are we here to find out who is the best, or are we here to bust up noobs? I thought this was ToO…bragging rights, lighthouses, and badazz weapons to show for it. Well I’m not that good of a pvp player, but if I was I would want to know and compete against the best. There is no glory in anything short of this objective in teamplay imo. Now can you say, “trip to the lighthouse”? Yes, the lighthouse should be left to flawless teamplay and that is the reward that motivates the solo guy to enter teamplay game mode. You can get weapon drops and engrams in solo, but if you want a trip to the house, you gotta go through teams baby! Say bye bye to mr carry guy in the process. If you guys want your highlight reel, go into QP and get them…like many of you have lately. If you want guys to REALLY “get good”, then give them the opportunity to compete on a balanced playing field to progress their skills. Maybe one day some noob will nuke your 2.5 kid in a match and give you a real run for your money…oh, but we can’t have that now can we? Sweats like programming is hard, right?🤣 Now if that kind of thinking “chaps your bunghole”, then leave trials for the highly skilled (that won’t play each other) and watch it die…again.✌🏼

Because its -blam!- random madness. They have no idea how to balance a lobby because they wont even try SBMM

Playing against slightly positive KDS isn’t a challenge, you’re asking for freebies.

Which is why I'm not a fan of freelance trials. MM rarely aligns players ambition. Matching you guys going for flawless with a 0.4 who was probably just there for completing bounties etc is causing community friction.

2 RisposteWhy not find the perfect player instead of rolling the dice on trying to find the perfect 3rd player that plays solo. Than failing over and over again. My money is that solo players aren't going to be better than the average team player. You should find a teammate.....

The entirety of The Crucible (every game mode in it) is using this new matchmaking system developed in house over the course of 6+ years by Bungie themselves. They tried the traditional CBMM & SBMM seen in other PvP games, however, neither of those tried and true methods fit in the mold Bungie was trying to create. Their data told the story, some people actually liked one mode or the other. So Bungie went back to the drawing board, leveraging all the game play data they had (6+ years worth) and has brought into being their new custom system called FUMM. So far it's working beyond their highest expectations, and their execs are ecstatic over the results. The general sentiment in the studio is that once the community has been given enough time to adjust to it, Bungie won't have to worry about further issues with The Crucible. Be it weapon balancing, matchmaking, nerfing/buffing, or anything else that's plagued this game mode since it's inception. The reason? No one will be left playing The Crucible, and they can finally shut it down, all thanks to FUMM.

It should literally not allow players with such a kd to enter the trials playlist, solo noobs ruin a lot of games

Modificato da ShaxxCousin: 11/12/2021 8:21:08 PMIt gets really tiresome when you have to become the best Destiny player in the world to carry your teammates every other round. It’s near impossible for me. No matter how I switch up my play style. It’s as if the games matchmaking always puts odds of winning against you with other teammates of lesser skill and opponents of same or higher. My KDA is 1.32 so I’m not that terrible.

7 RisposteModificato da Zeus: 11/1/2021 7:46:57 PMI have 1.5 kd in crucible an still can't get flawless but I have been flawless only three times wish I could get more tbh.... The match making is rough

57 wins no flawless it's like the more you play the less chance you have at going flawless. What a shitty matchmaking process. Whoever thought this one out should be put in the mail room and take their stapler away.

The matching is pretty bad. I wish it would put people on your team who are also on a flawless card. Except it doesn't and matches you with kids who aren't on flawless so they don't care about the win.
